Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Texas City

Very nice place a little confusing to get to but once you’ve gone it’s easier to get by. It was a little sketchy neighborhood wise just because the people around would stare at you and whatever you did and sometimes park on the front side of the house next to the driveway. Didn’t bother us other than that though. The place inside was great had many amenities and supplies and Karen was very responsive! Cool stay for a few days !

We had a great stay during our week at Robert’s place (family of three and a dog). All is exactly as pictured: clean, comfortable, and cozy, with a fun beach vibe. The neighborhood is super walkable and fun for humans and dogs — our dog sniffed while I gawked at the historical homes (win-win)! Plus, it’s such a great spot for all of the Galveston things (Moody Gardens, Strand, beach, restaurants, etc.) But the real stand-out here is Robert’s communication and attentiveness. Just STELLAR. Y’all will be well taken care of, trust me. Either you’ll find everything you need already at the cottage or, if you end up needing something, Robert will make it so! Definitely recommend. Laura’s home was great. We had 3 families and had plenty of room and some extra beds we didn’t use. It was about a 25 minute drive to the cruise port. She also provided cold bottled water and that was a nice touch.

House was sssssooooo cozy! It was perfect for me and my family! They had extra stuff we could borrow for the beach which really came in handy! It’s a great neutral location where you can go 15 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to Texas City! It is such a welcoming home with little notes around the house that remind you to help yourself to what the home offers. My children were able to be free and it wasn’t so big where we couldn’t keep our eyes on them at all times. Would definitely stay here again when we come to the Galveston area!!!

Just what we needed! The house was super clean! Ivan responded right away when I had questions. Overall was just a really good stay and recommend this place if you need a quiet, clean, and simple place to stay. Hosts 6 people comfortably.

This was hands-down one of the best stays we’ve ever had as a family! My son and daughter absolutely loved it — from the private pool and mini golf to the cozy bunk beds and foosball table, they were entertained from start to finish. We followed the handbook and did everything it recommended — beach time, Galveston State Park, Waterman’s restaurant, and even ping pong tournament by the parking area. Everything was spot-on! The home is beautifully designed, super clean, and felt like a true home away from home. The views of the park from the deck were stunning, and the sunsets were magical. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive, and we appreciated all the small touches. Thank you for helping us create amazing memories. We’re already talking about coming back! Highly recommend this gem. 🌊🌴

Clint is nice and very respectful We enjoyed his place very much !! Can’t wait to book again! Lots to do and equipped with everything you need specially if y’all love the out doors & lakes… The house is very welcoming and very grand to your needs! I highly recommend Clint’s place !

Stayed at David & Adriana’s place for a special anniversary trip this past weekend. We cannot recommend this place enough!!! We take trips quite often through air bnb and this stay was by far the best place we have ever stayed. David was VERY responsive with any questions we had. The location was perfect for the different activities we had planned. The house was clean and was easy to find things if we needed anything. There were some things we forgot to bring and was so happy that the house had the things we needed. Absolutely amazing!! We will definitely be staying here again.

Quick two night stay and everything was lovely! Bedroom stayed dark so we got some extra zzzzz’s! Walkable to The Strand. Beautiful place!

Absolutely a gem!!!!! LOCATION!!!LOCATION!!! LOCATION!!! The Zen Den was so adorable, perfect for a couples getaway. Very well put together and the aesthetic was just fabulous. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing, central location place. The Zen Den it is. You will not regret your stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved that we were less than 10min to everything. Especially a skip and hop away from one of our favorite, Gaido's restaurant. Definitely will book again. This place was walkable to the beach and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay for us and our 2 kids. The host was very communicative and parking was easy. Our kids said that they loved it.

Absolutely adored the place....well decorated, well maintained and very clean...was loaded with amenities and everything needed for comfort and feel at home. The shower was hot as I like and bed very comfortable. I brought my own white noise machine but did not need it because one was already provided. The hostess was very attentive and prompt with responding. The views of beach was therapeutic and amazing. Casa Del Mar staff was very friendly and professional. My husband and I spent 8 days in Galveston and it was perfect.

Great spot near the beach! Perfect for our small family. Loved that we had access to beach chairs & beach toys. Pool area was awesome and it was nice to walk right out from the condo to the pool. Fun themed condo which was very clean and inviting. Great host! Thanks again!

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The host was responsive and so kind. The location, the pool and the view made our trip even better. Can’t wait to visit again!

Nice view of the beach and the pool.. it was a very nice and relaxing stay even the kids loved it… everything in nice distance from Walmart to fast food places beach was also walking distance.. the vibes were amazing!! .. wouldn’t mind staying again😁

The stay was amazing..beautiful view of the beach from the balcony..lots of activities besides beach in a reasonable distance from room..david and grace were very active and helpful with communication on details about the room and giving a list of locations and activities..the room was very clean and well stocked for cooking if youre not trying to eat takeout the entire trip.
