Wild hikes River Escapes & Nature Views with Meals

InèsRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying at Lakmali's place in Runakanda Forest is definitely one of my top 5 favorite places in Sri Lanka. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay there, especially with my mom, as it was her first time in Sri Lanka, and she absolutely loved every moment of it! The food was beyond incredible! Each meal was showcasing the rich and flavorful Sri Lankan cuisine. The peaceful and serene surroundings of the forest made it the perfect escape. It’s a truly tranquil place where we could relax, and the location was just ideal for enjoying authentic local experiences. We had the chance to pick tea just a short walk away from the cottage, a unique experience that we’ll never forget. We also had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people, and the warm hospitality made our stay feel special. My mom and I both agreed that it was a stay we’ll cherish forever. I can’t recommend Lakmali’s place highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable experience in SL !

Seashell Villa Beach Front -BIG Pool -20%Discount

TarasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The villa itself is great, 4 spacious bedrooms, more well-maintained grounds, a pool that is taken care of every morning. The house was cleaned every other day, with a change of towels. The kitchen has everything you need, dishes, a fire pans, upon arrival there was egg milk salt oil. Washing machine is also available. Among the disadvantages: we were from the middle to the end of April 2025, the non-season began there were very strong waves and our beach did not meet our expectations at all, immediately after the steps there was no sand, as we saw in the photo, but the huge blocks of rocks under which the ocean is raging, that is, to go down these stones in the right vilas 6. We were with 3 kids and it was very problematic for us. After talking to the staff, they explained to us that at this time it is always so, there is a low tide and the sand goes away, then returns. The conclusion of the villa is great but it is recommended to visit in season Separately, I want to note the driver(he also washed the pool in the morning) drove us everywhere, was very patient.

Cinnamon Plantation Villa in Ambalangoda

LisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed one night in this beautiful villa before going up to Colombo to the airport. It was the perfect end of our trip! The house is peaceful and quiet with a huge garden. There are squirrels, peacocks, parrots and lots of fruit trees and palms - like a private paradise. The private pool is also amazing. The lovely host gave us a guided tour through the cinnamon plantation and harvesting process, which was very interesting. At all the hosts are the kindest people and make sure your stay is perfect, they also arranged a Tuk to Hikkaduwa which takes around 20min. We would definitely come again! 🌞

Luxury, tranquil paddy field Villa - 8min to beach

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tammy's property. The setting amidst the paddy fields was stunning, and we loved seeing the peacocks, monkeys, and diverse birdlife. Adding to the charm were the lovely dogs on the property, Unnabala and Suddhi. The property itself is amazing, but what truly elevated our stay was Charith, the caretaker. From the moment we arrived, his warm smile and positive attitude were so welcoming. His cooking was exceptional – every meal was delicious! Beyond that, his patience and willingness to help with anything we needed were truly remarkable. Charith's care and dedication made our trip so special. While the location is beautiful, it's Charith who would bring us back to this Airbnb without hesitation on our next visit to Sri Lanka. He is an invaluable asset to this property.

Villa Kirigedara 3 bed ensuite, pool & garden

MedhaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What an incredible few days at Kirigedara! The house is even better than what you see in the photos. Harsha, the caretaker and chef went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and happy. I will forever cherish all the incredible food he made for us. He was always present and available. The house is stunning and in a very peaceful location. It is away from the town and there’s not a lot of restaurants around but we were just happy enjoying the villa, Harsha’s food, the garden and the pool. I would recommend better maintenance of the cushions/couch in the living room and Cabana. Already missing the sounds of the birds and the lush green surroundings. I can’t wait to be back!

Anmar Beach Villa, private garden & pool, sleeps 6

MartinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house, the garden simply fantastic! The kitchen is a little small, but everything you need is there. The "gardener " cooked something for us in the evening, super delicious. The two guard dogs😂, two dear decent cuddles, welcomed us joyfully every day, our children as well as we were really happy with the two.

Olu Villa, Galle - Tropical Village Life

VinithaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Where do I even begin? From the start, Hasitha made us feel we’d chosen the perfect stay. Responsive, kind, and accommodating, he provided excellent tips on what to do, see, and eat. The property itself felt like a warm hug. Surrounded by lush paddy fields, a lotus pond, and vibrant greenery, it offered breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset. 🌻 The design combines comfort and charm, with spacious rooms, an efficient kitchen, and thoughtful touches like a washing machine. Mornings were magical—waking to birdsong and the golden glow of sunrise over the fields. Evenings, with fiery sunsets and calm breezes, were equally enchanting. The caretaker added to the experience with warm smiles and traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. Hasitha even arranged a visit to his brother’s tea plantation—a memorable highlight. Two days weren’t enough. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a soul-refreshing experience we’ll always treasure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and authenticity ❤️✨
