Es war wirklich sehr schön hier, ich wurde direkt zum traditionellen Tanz am Abend eingeladen. Das hat Spaß gemacht. Ich bin nicht in den Pool gegangen, denn im Moment wird direkt neben dem Pool eine Erweiterung gebaut. Doch die Männer arbeiten hart, es wird sicherlich bald vorbei sein, mit der Baustelle. 😉

Shen et Hansi étaient d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous avons passé 2 nuits parfaites. C’est comme si nous étions en famille. Mon amie a été malade, Shen s’est occupée d’elle et lui a donné des médicaments et même emmené voir un docteur. Ils nous ont reservé une balade pour voir le Lion’s Rock avec un guide français et aller au safari de mynrreriya avec un chauffeur. Vous pouvez demander également à ce qu’ils réservent un tuk tuk pour vous. Meilleur endroit du Sri Lanka ! Nous serions bien restées plus longtemps !

Absolutely amazing host, helped us throughout our Sigiriya stay. Madara arranged our trips to Dambulla and Lion’s rock, went out of the way to rent us her father’s bike. Loved the Airbnb and the whole vibe of Sigiriya. Breakfast was complementary and was blend of Sri Lankan and English food. Totally recommend.

located in the heart of the jungle, Madu's place is really good for nature lovers. It is very relaxing, and his food is delicious. I liked it so much I stood an extra night. I had a minor issue when I found out some critters eating my food in the room. The only recommendation is to put food downstairs, not in the tree house. Amazing place if you want to shower naked in the middle of a tree, heavily covered by the branches. This place was carved by Madu, a real masterpiece

Asela’s place is in a perfect location next to the lion rock and other activities in Sigirya. The place is a bit behind the main road so when ordering an uber or pickme there wasn’t anyone responding, however Asela kindly booked is tuktuks and cars with even cheaper prices ! Asela is very responsive and is always there to help, with definitely recommend this place.

Magical Tree House in Jungle next to Pidurangala

What can I say. Amazing 😁. This was the perfect place to spend the final couple of days of our holiday. The tree house was incredible and managed to be comfortable despite being open to the jungle. We were a bit concerned beforehand about the lack of aircon, as well as insects, but neither proved to be a problem and it was so atmospheric waking up to the sounds of the jungle all around. Breakfast and dinners were great, served promptly with friendly service. Be mindful to bring your own beers, etc with you if you want as alcohol is not available on site and it’s a bit of a trek back into the town. We were able to walk up Pidurangala Rock when we arrived to see the sunset - a really fun scramble up some rocks at the end for a magical experience at the top. We would highly recommend this place.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und versorgt. Auch unsere Kinder sind mit viel Geduld behandelt worden. Vielen Dank dafür! Obwohl sie angeben, dass sie kein Hotel sind, war die Unterkunft viel sauberer als der Großteil unserer anderen Unterkünfte in Sri Lanka. Wir haben auch die Monkey Tour gemacht und sie sehr genossen. definitiv eine Empfehlung!!
