Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Thanh Trì

Not the kind of place for large heavy luggage or people with knee/back injuries - the stair cases are steep and tricky to navigate if so. I travelled with one 7 kilo backpack which was perfect. This is One of my Favourite Airbnbs in the world! Light, minimalist, everything you need, safe for single female (just lock the gate in front of your door before you sleep) and relatively private. I went to Laika cafe around the corner every day for the best salted ice coffee and ate from local shops around the area which were great. Walking distance to the lake, water puppet theatre, French and old quarters and is quiet most nights with a few bars across the road and proximity to jazz clubs. I loved sitting out on the balcony eating cold seasonal fruits and writing while watching the traffic go by. I bought extra tea and snacks but there were cookies and ice tea sachets in the room. 7-11 is close by. Organised airport pick up with host which went smoothly. I would stay here again!

Good communication, room like on the pictures, location 10/10 - I can totally recommend this place :) Also we used the shuttle service from the airport. Everyone worked out very smooth. Thanks a lot.

Sehr gute gelegene Unterkunft mit traumhafter Aussicht, Seeblick überall. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, tut aber noch das was sie soll. Es ist nicht alles überall blitzblank sauber, die Gastgeberin nimmt Anregungen gerne entgegen und verspricht Nachbesserungen. Insofern alles tiptop.

Jesse was a wonderful host. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. The place was perfect. A short walk to the Old Quarter if you want to get into the hustle and bustle but the right amount of clam if you need a little escape. There are lots of things close by to the apartment. The staff at the coffee shop were super lovely too. It was a great base for exploring Hanoi !! Thank you !

The apartment was in a great location, nearby lots of sightseeing attractions and good food.

Lovely airbnb, we felt right at home. Hosts were proactive, helpful and communicative.

le séjour étai parfait 🙏🏻🌺☀️ merci beaucoup Thuy Trang 💪🏻 l'appartement était nickel et a proximité de tout (restaurant, shop etc etc) la petite terrasse est agréable, tout était propre 👍🏻on a de quoi se préparer a manger, le lit étai confortable, la climatisation Marche très bien, la télé aussi (les prise pour charger votre téléphone, ordinateur fonctionne bien "pas besoin d'adaptateur pour les personnes Françaises")

We had a great stay! They were always quick to respond, gave us a lot of great recommendations for the area, and even provided us things like a SIM card and water, etc! It was right in front of a lovely cafe and delicious restaurant and the place itself is not too far from the lake and other really great must-see places like the Thang Long Water Puppet Show ! Would definitely stay again!!

Apartment is exactly as described. Right in old town so walkable to so many things (restaurants, bars, markets, etc). Both beds were comfortable. The area gets busy at night but the apartment is quiet inside (you can hear some noise if you’re in the bathroom but the main room is very quiet). Tea and Ryan sent a list of local recommendations and also offered to help us book tours. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, so we could leave with clean clothing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at La’s apartment. It was clean and close to everything. It was also quiet which was great!Very comfy bed and pillows. There is a grocery store right across the street. La was very attentive and proactive in helping us. Would stay here again!

Could not say anything better about my experience with this host. Extremely responsive and accommodating with our early check-in. In terms of the apartment, location was great, very clean, and good for larger groups.

Linh's place is cozy and conveniently located with many great places to visit or eat around. The host is super responsive and helpful during my stay. I would definitely stay at her place next time in town.

We have a good experience during our 3 days at edric's place with his friends.. we got an excellent service from them.. i’m highly recommend to stay at edric's place if you visit hanoi... you will get very friendly service from the host in this place!

This place is an absolute gem in the middle of the Old Quarter. Do you want to feel like a local? Stay here. While nights can be a bit noisier, it is well worth it! Definitely encourage you to read the reviews of others as well as they are helpful. You will not be disappointed.

It felt just like home:comfortable, clean, and truly wonderful. Hong was always proactive and communicated with kindness, going out of their way to accommodate us. The neighborhood was incredibly safe, and with a lake right in front of the property, evening strolls were delightful. This is definitely a place we’d love to stay at again! We had such a relaxing time. Thanks! 😊

Absolutely loved our stay at this place! It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, and communication with was excellent. Site located to some sort of military area so very protected and safe. Gorgeous view to colonial house. Super quiet as well so can sleep peacefully. Highly recommend!

I had pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment. The place is clean. It had a cozy and warm atmosphere. The furniture was comfortable, and the living room was huge, as we had 3 kids with us and they have enough space for playing. There was also a kids playground on the ground floor. The building was safe, as there are security guard even druing the night. We had no trouble getting to the place at 2AM when we checked in. Ha was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had.

It was just one day stay. but it was really good. very nice location to go to center of the hanoi ^^!

We had a wonderful stay at Helen’s place in Hanoi! The apartment was clean, complete with everything I needed, and incredibly comfortable — a perfect home base for exploring the city. Helen was an amazing host: warm, responsive, and always ready to help with great local tips. Me and my Highschool friends truly felt welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hanoi!
