Quarry View - Unique property nestled in the woods

Quarry View is a quirky, comfortable property nestled in the woods in Pontesbury. Comfortably sleeping 2 with the option of a travel cot/camp bed for a child if needed. Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. We are happy to provide info about the area and as we live next door, we are easily contactable if needed

The Garden Room is a private, cosy apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or visitors looking to explore the area. It has basic cooking facilities, a king bed, wood burning stove and a walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen - the other morning while drinking my coffee I watched a pair of hares, leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

The property is a charming self-contained double bedroom apartment on the top floor of a detached two storey timber clad barn about 5 miles from Bishops Castle, Shropshire near the famous Stiperstones and Long Mynd. Set in a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Barn overlooks the beautiful Linley Estate and the West Onny river valley. It is a short distance from the owner's house and is a perfect rural cosy retreat for walkers, cyclists and anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Set in its own paddock, along with a fire pit and outdoor kitchen, Stable End makes for a perfect peaceful getaway. Lovingly brought to life by Sally and Jayne the cabin is brimming with up-cycled elements, each telling their own story and thoughtfully curated to give you a truly unique stay. For walkers and countryside lovers, nearby are the beautiful Stiperstones. And for food and history fans, it's not far to picturesque Ludlow, historic Powis Castle and the lively city of Shrewsbury.

Secluded and quaint Shepherds Hut with beautiful views of the shropshire hills. Enjoy the scenery no matter the weather with your very own log burner. The Shepherds Hut boasts tea and coffee facilities and your own shower and toilet block/washroom so you will have everything you need to escape from the rest of the world. Then when you're ready to socialise again, come and get cosy in the 16th century country inn next door! Please note the pub is Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

Our holiday apartment occupies the top floor of the Old Vicarage, a grade 2 listed Georgian house with much older roots, located directly behind the church of St John the Baptist in the heart of the historic market town of Bishops Castle. From its lofty location guests can enjoy far reaching views over the town and hills beyond. Only a few steps to the nearest pub, shops, eateries and with immediate access to the Shropshire Way and many other walking and cycling routes.

This lovely barn is set in the midst of the Shropshire Hills National Landscape . With walks from your doorstep you can discover the natural beauty of the area or take time out on the patio and drink in the views over the lake to the Long Mynd beyond. Meet the friendly alpacas on site and of an evening cosy up together with a warm fire watching the moon and stars rise. Visit historic castles, country houses, magical stone circles and ancient monuments.
