House holiday rentals in The Grove

We came for a graduation for our daughter. She and her husband and four kids stayed with us. Deborah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! There were graduation decorations and even bubbles for the kids to help Mom celebrate! She left little surprises all over the house for our grandkids and they were so entertained by such a well stocked home! The pool was way nicer than expected and we had so much fun in it!! You can tell Deborah takes pride in this home and in providing a memorable experience! This was actually a last minute booking because our original place was canceled and I feel it was meant to be. This was a better weekend because of where we stayed!

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host, Marie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations. Marie made Christmas truly special for our family. The communication was seamless, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

The house was amazing and clean. The pool area was peaceful after a long day of work. It was conveniently located to where we were working and were able to walk back and forth. The host was responsive to any questions and requests. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This place was just what we needed for a quick trip back "home." Location was great. Nice and quiet and private. Easy access to highways, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Matt was very responsive to any and all questions. How was very clean and had everything we needed. Basement games were fun for kids as well:) We're actually coming back next month and staying at one of his other properties. We're sure we won't be disappointed!:)

Great location, all the amenities you could ask for, loved the bath tub and hot tub! Super clean and comfy! Our family loved it! It was the perfect get away after a busy day in the city!

We stayed here for a mini honeymoon to destress in private. It is very peaceful and private at this beautiful cabin in a wooded area. The road up the hill is narrow, so bring a good driver in good weather. There were very thorough instructions to get to this cute but tucked away location. Inside the cabin are gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that allow a peaceful view of the trees. The furnishings are cute, clean, and thoughtful. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the kitchenette has everything a couple needs for a few nights away. The TV has Internet and streaming apps. Outside, the wooden porch has a grill, fire pit, and a clean hot tub. There are thoughtfully provided curtains to allow the tub privacy from the (barely used) road. Overall this was a lovely stay and we'd love to return!

We vacationed in many condos and homes. Mostly off an alternative site. This place was in the tops. Great neighborhood the Hills. Fantastic restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Would stay here again if ever in the area again.

To say this place is unique is an understatement but the place was awesome. Every square foot was accounted for in something new and neat to find. Location is great, as it’s about a 15 minute drive from any place you’d want to go, but also there’s enough to do on the grounds you don’t really have to leave if you so choose. When we visit St Louis again we will look here first!

Wow! What a perfect spot to stay with young kids. They had a ton of amazing toys (tucked away so the space looked pristine when we arrived) and my kids were thrilled. It is a beautiful space that worked so well for our young family. Thank you for being so flexible with us, Liz

We had a great stay. The house was good for a larger group. The dining room table was a good size, and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. There was a lot to do in the area. This is a great place to stay for a city living experience, and for doing Downtown St. Louis activities. There are many great restaurants in the Hill area. Plus, gardens and museums.

Ann’s place was perfect for our group of 10! We liked the space the house provided - the living room and kitchen area were great for dinners and watching movies together. We could all sit down at the big table for meals. The kitchen had all the pots/pans/dishes/utensils we needed to cook breakfast and dinner…and the coffee maker and ice machine were great! Our daughter enjoyed playing the piano! The 5 rooms had enough comfortable beds for all of us and it was convenient that there was a bathroom on each of the three floors. The master bedroom had a nice shower and soaking tub! Challenges we had was getting our luggage up and down the stairs. Also, the house address is at the end of a blocked street. There is street parking in front of the house, but if you want to park in the enclosed garage, you need to drive around the block to get to the garage. It’s easy to figure out once you see it. You need a remote or Genie code from Antoinette to get in. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ann!

Nice house in a sweet neighborhood. A few barking dogs, but thats what dogs do. Great pulled pork and other classics down the block at The Stellar Pig was a short walk when in need for a beer and some comfort food. This was my first time in St Louis and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely collections at the Ar Museum, the beautiful botanical garden and OMG the architectural feat of engineering and art of the Gateway Arch - MUST take the tram ride to the top; well worth the money. But back to Anthony's place: the bed was super comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. Also a great value!

I’ve booked several Airbnb’s over the years . This property was perhaps the most interesting. This is an historic house that was completely renovated. My wife family had a reunion . We had 12 people stay at the house. The accommodations were perfect for our large group including children. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped and modern . The dining area off the kitchen accommodated all of us in the evening. The house is located on a street that is gated on one end . Only local traffic entered I would highly recommend this property, especially if you have a large group. Our host Chris was very accommodating and communicated well . We had a great stay .

John went above and beyond for us! The house is awesome and has a great outdoor space in a nice and very quiet neighborhood! Stunning plants and decor! The kitchen is perfectly equipped and a great chef’s kitchen!

A very nice stay -- you can tell the property is cared for with attentiveness. Delightful gardening up front -- on a street without much of that. Good lighting, well-equiped kitchen. Good spaces to relax. One slight criticism -- master shower was perhaps the worst shower I've had in a while. Almost no flow -- likely a poor design by Moen (the fixture manufacturer). I'd gladly come back if in St. Louis again.

We have stayed here before and it did not disappoint. We wished it was a little closer to the center of the hill, but the place is spotless and parking was super easy. We would come back again.

Great stay at Caylan's place. House had street parking right out front and was nearby to plenty of restaurants. Worked perfect for our group of 3. Would stay again!

Holly's place was pure magic! It is everything you could ask for in an Airbnb stay...and host. The house was extremely clean, well stocked, and had all the amenities listed. It was spacious enough for a family but still felt cozy enough for this solo traveler. The neighborhood felt very safe, even late at night when arriving back to the Airbnb after work. I enjoyed being a short distance from some great Italian bakeries, restaurants, and stores; but also centrally located near all major interstates ( and attractions). Holly was a great host and never hesitated to make sure that I was comfortable and that everything met my expectations. I highly recommend Holly's place without reservation. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay!

Was a peaceful stay. Four adults and two busy children. The toys were wonderful and kept the littles occupied on the rainy days. The location was close to what we had planned. Amy communicated promptly.

This is the second time that we've stayed at Dan's place and I know it won't be the last. They are always so responsive and proactive with giving us our check-in information about our stay and making sure we know to reach out if we need anything but we never do because the place is so perfect! It just feels like home as soon as you arrive. It is one of the top places we've ever stayed and everything is exactly as described. Don't miss out on this gem.

Great place, close to Union Station, lots of great restaurants near by. Home is large, we had 8 with us and it was comfortable.

A great place to stay at! Close proximity to the city and all that it has to offer. Frances was very polite and respectful, and quick to respond to any questions that we had while on our trip!

I loved the apartment - hardwood floors and vintage structure.

Stephanie’s place was perfect! It had all the things we needed as well as additional perks like beer in the fridge and snacks on the counter. It was clean and Stephanie was very responsive and attentive to us. We would certainly stay here again!
