Beachfront holiday rental in The Towans

Wow - what an amazing place to stay! This is probably the most memorable AirBnB I have stayed in so far. You are right on the edge of the seafront and by the harbour, with the double aspect living room enabling you to see both - the sea views are just stunning. Margaret was a really friendly and communicative host, and the parking space is good. I would heartily recommend this as a great place to stay; it is just so special being able to look out and see the sea from bed, and to hear the waves lapping at the shore as you go to sleep or make your cup of tea in the morning.

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

It was close to the beach, but it was nice that it was quiet. There were a lot of stairs in the house, so it was a little difficult to go up and down with luggage, but there were two bathrooms and it was clean, so it was a satisfying trip! Thanks to you, it was a fun trip.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lisa’s cottage,It’s location is perfect for walking into St Ives and the car park. The cottage was exactly as described with a comfortable bed nice bathroom with hot shower and lounge area for relaxing after a hard day on the beach. Would definitely book again.

So nice to arrive after a long journey to find the water hot with excellent shower facilities, a welcoming comfortable bed with good quality bedding. We were told it was dog friendly, so we were appreciative to find bowls, towel etc., should you forget. The location was ideal for exploring the North Coast and we made full use of our NT membership. Wonderful dog friendly beaches and eating establishments very accomodating. we particularly enjoyed Godrevy and Holywell Coves. ''Tap House'' in St Agnes is a must , great food reasonably priced , but make sure you book and allow time for parking.

Amazing location - right at the center of st ives yet extremely quiet apartment! Spacious, great communication, lovely terrace! Will definitely come back!

A lovely, quirky place in a great location - I don’t think you could get a better location in Mousehole. The relationship with the Children’s book’The Mousehole Cat’ gives it an exceptional history. The house was cosy, comfortable and well appointed with high quality bathroom toiletries. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again and recommend it to others.

we've just spent 4 nights at Jane's apartment in St Ives, Cornwall, our stay was to see family I have there and spend a few day relaxing and the views from Jane's place made that easy. I would definitely stay here again so thank you Jane for a great holiday.

We loved our stay here. The apartment was perfect for us - a family of 4 with 2 teens. There is so much to do on the estate - the pool and leisure area were great for rainy days. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cafe as well as being able to hire SUPs and wetsuits. Melanie was a great host and was really flexible in letting us change our arrival day (twice!) as well as enabling an early check in. There's loads to do in the area. Highly recommended!

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mary’s beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations the location was incredible, only a short and beautiful walk into the town. Next to the best beach. Every room was very clean and had everything we needed. Mary was very help helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend. Made a special birthday just perfect.

Everything was as described by Anna, the Surf Shack was spotless and very well maintained. Anna's communication with us was brilliant since the beginning. The "welcome package" was a nice touch and the Surf Shack has everything you need for a lovely holiday. Essentially we used this place as a base to explore Cornwall, and even though the weather wasn't perfect with a few rainy and windy days, the truth is that we made the most of our time, always with something different to do and explore each day. The local mini-market and entertainment, the play areas and the beach also add extra value to this place. For us travelling with 2 kids, the Surf Shack was definitely a good choice and the kids didn't want to leave it! The only thing that could be improved are the bed mattresses, which could be more comfortable. Otherwise, nothing more to say except that we loved it. Thank you for having us!

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

This is the cleanest holiday rental we’ve ever stayed. Owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Beautiful property. Wonderful area. Pool was lovely. Highly recommend. This place is a real gem and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful views, peace and serenity. It's within a short walk of amazing beaches and close to all local amenities that you need. St. Ives is easily accessible and we used it as a base for many other Cornish locations - Penzance, Land's End and Falmouth were an easy drive away. The property itself, aside from being in a great location, was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and had all amenities that were advertised and the pictures in the listing were accurate and recent. Karen was a great host, very responsive and left a number of goodies in the kitchen to welcome us, which was an extra special touch that we didn't expect. We stayed for 7 nights and could easily have stayed longer.

A gorgeous house within walking distance of Hayle beach. The house was brilliantly appointed and was very comfortable. Gorgeous views over the estuary enhanced our stay. Annie was a great host - very responsive and informative.

Great house and probably the best we’ve stayed in Cornwall. About a 15 minute walk from a beautiful beach through the sand dunes, which our dog loved. The kitchen is the best equipped we’ve come across in an Airbnb. We cooked a few times during the stay and to our surprise it had all the random things we needed. The property is on a very quiet street and felt very private tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac and next to the entrance where you go through to the beach. We were unfamiliar with Gwithian/Hayle but we’d definitely stay again, it felt so peaceful but also very easy to get to St Ives. M&S was within a few minutes drive too so handy to get a shop in. Thanks Rebecca for the lovely stay, we’re already thinking about another visit!

We had a wonderful stay. The house and its surroundings were exactly as described – it really does have the feel of a luxury hotel, but with the warmth and space of a home. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, and welcoming. The views are stunning, and the beach is just a stone’s throw away – perfect for our 4.5-year-old to walk to. Town is also just a short five-minute stroll away. We’d also highly recommend Highlanes Fish & Chips – only a five-minute drive and well worth it. All in all, a lovely stay. Clean, spacious, fantastic views, and a brilliant location.

Cornwall has always been a special place for me and my partner, and since staying at Black Moon it has become our new favourite place yet! Little did my partner know, but we just got engaged here and it was the perfect place to propose and will always been an amazing memory. From the minute we booked, to the time we checked out, we couldn’t have asked for a better host and place to stay. What you see is what you get, so if you’re considering staying here… BOOK IT!

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

Had a really lovely stay with my mum. Very clean and tidy. The beds are very comfortable. The area is beautiful. Book to avoid disappointment!!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!
