Double Dutch is located in a beautiful spot by the kamaraj lake. Wonderful for swimming. Very peaceful little village of athoor. We stayed in shanti nivas house which is across the road from the main house. Very rustic, set in a small Hill with a few other rooms. Lots of greenery around. The staff are very friendly and kind. Meal timings are set but staff were very accommodating of us and our timings. All guests eat together on the roof top. This is a quiet resort. Rooms are clean and good size , mattress very comfortable, bathroom is spacious with a good solar water heater. The host is very friendly but also gives you your space. We were the only Indian guests at the time. We were very grateful that our Labrador was also allowed to stay with us. Great place. Do visit.

The location and room are beautiful, the staff were polite and Saneesh was very quick to reply to any queries we had and took steps to clarify things and make adjustments for our needs. We would also recommend the activities such as the sunrise walk.

Beautiful stay nestled among tea plantations. You can watch the beautiful sunset on the way to the homestay. Great cozy stay, made even better by the wonderful food we had at the Airbnb itself. Lixon helped us out with all the local travel and recommendations and made for a great stay overall. Highly recommended!

We had wonderful stay at [Tejush] apartment. The location could not be better, very central, short walking distance from all the main attractions.The bus stand is only 500mtrs away from the listing walkable distance.

*Best place to unplug from fast paced city life!** Neelakarunji is the best option available if you’re looking for a secluded, quiet place around Munnar. The stay is amidst green cardamom plantations and is away from the city hustle bustle. The architecture of the house is designed by the owner and they’ve done a great job by adding a tinge of luxury to the natural surrounding. The staff as well as the owners are extremely sweet, humble and will even go out of their ways to make your stay memorable. Traditional Kerala food is served hot and they are also open for suggestions as per taste buds. A plantation walk is a must but one can even choose to do nothing and just relax inside the property as the vibe of the place is extremely refreshing!

I will definitely recommend this place, the view was amazing. Rooms were neat and clean, Host was very helpful when it comes to any sort of information or help.

The stay at Whispering Waters was amazing - away from hustle bustle of the city - surrounded by the nature’s beauty -cloudy forests with a waterfall view. This perfectly describe what Kodaikanal has to offer and getting it at a single place is a bliss. Accompanied by the hospitality from host and staff is truly amazing- very helpful, supportive, responsive and have a positive attitude to maintain the property and attend the guests. Also don’t miss the cats ( Grumpy, Tina & Tom) They also provide excellent homely food. Overall a very beautiful cottage in the midst of pear orchard.

Great place to stay amidst the misty hills of vagamon. Friendly staff, food is amazing. Overall hygeine and ambience upto expectations. Pool is a fun bonus. Located at the heart of tea plantations, a great ride from vagamon centre. Overall a very positive experience. Highly recommend this place.

I and my husband , plan our wedding anniversary to munnar , This was the first time to kerala and first time to munnar, thank to Avadale munnar stay and Mr.Manikandan and staff, he is such a great host , he really arrange the whole stay for us accordingly, the room was clean and huge space , the food was fantastic and very cheap , the environment was lovely, will be surrounded with greenlush, thier service was awesome much appreciated to Mr.mandikan for the hospitality and perfect arrangements during our stay I will give 5star for the stay . We really enjoyed and really missing this place.

our stay was so relaxing, enjoyable. we iterally got detox of Chaos. The house is so pretty and peaceful, the Host is so poliet and friendly, he will make you feel like home. the property has everything which you need in a hill stations, you can track there, you can enjoy the sunrise exact from their roof, you can enjoy the plantation visit, so without visiting the Kodaikanal also you can enjoy here. The food was also awesome. places like this make you feel that literally what are you doing in the city.

I recently had a fantastic stay here. The property, owned by Maria, was peaceful, clean, and perfectly maintained—ideal for a relaxing getaway. What made the experience even better was the amazing support from Ajith and his friend. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always available with a swift response whenever we needed anything. Their friendly and professional attitude made us feel right at home, and their local tips added a lot to our trip. A big thank you to Maria for hosting such a lovely place and to Ajith and his friend for going the extra mile. Looking forward to coming back again!

Nice getaway, the place is well nestled in midst of natural slopes. Amazing view as well. I would invest additional time in the cottage as well. Vishnu was great with his cooking, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time.

The stay is amazing if you wanna go offbeat. The clouds were literally in our rooms if we kept the windows open🥹. The staff were super responsive as the host. Tony convinced us to stay in his property and it was completely worth it. The property was super clean, the view from each and every room was just amazing(not justified in the photos) and the food was homely. We were 8 people who stayed for 2 nights and had all our means there in the property itself. The staff were so soft spoken that they didn’t say no to anything that we asked. Overall completely worth staying in the property.
