Tips from locals
Pub in a former carriage house offering locally sourced beer & snacks plus live events. Also just generally a cool, large, skylight-filled space with excellent weekend brunch choices. Again, as not-brunch people, that's saying quite a lot.
We don't understand why this place is so popular, but it is...it is always busy. Maybe you can tell us why. Family-friendly during the daytime.
The food gets rave reviews, as do the craft beers and the vibes. It's not in BedStuy, but if you're in Cobble Hill or Boerum Hill it's a place you will want to check out.
This pub has a great food menu and really great local beer and wine list. It's also family friendly. Highly recommend - great place to dine, work on your computer (free wifi) or have a pint.
Good breakfast, plenty of space, also has beer for a chill evening. Excellent place to bring a laptop and do work or read.
