My week-long stay at Essen's place was great! I arrived in Saskatoon a earlier than anticipated and the hosts were able to prioritize getting my room clean to let me drop my luggage off, before I made my way to the University of Saskatchewan campus just a short walk away. I arrived to a clean room with a made bed and a little snack from the hosts. All of the common spaces were neat and cleaned regularly during my stay. There are many AirBnB units in the house, but all the other guests were clean and respectful. The hosts do a great job of communicating their expectations and the rules (clean up after yourself, quiet hours, etc.), which made for a very enjoyable experience! The kitchen was well equipped with ample space and the necessary individual dishes and cutlery in addition to basic cookware. My only suggestion is that Room Z has thin curtains, so you may want to bring an eyemask if you are easily woken by natural light. All in all, a great stay. I wish every place were like this!
