This is a great base camp for all the adventures that the Western White Mountains have to offer!

Newly renovated two bedroom apartment in historic North Woodstock home. Built in 1917 “Grumblenot” has been enjoyed as a basecamp for fun in the White mountains for over a century. Located a half mile from the restaurants and shops in downtown North Woodstock, 4 miles to Loon, 10 miles to Cannon and across the street from one of the most popular swim spots on the Pemi. Welcome to our recently renovated home , built in the late 1890's in the heart of beautiful Tamworth Village, right on quiet Main st. A quick 5 minute walk to "downtown", Remick Farm and museum, Barnstormers summer theatre and The Other Bakery. Tamworth is home to many local hiking trails from easy walks to over 4000 foot summits. Great place in the winter with miles of free , groomed cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails as well.
