A Rustic Escape with Breathtaking Views If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. Tucked in a remote village, it offers stunning views of the beach on one side and backwaters on the other. We were lucky enough to spot a dolphin in the sea, a highlight of our stay. The accommodation is rustic and simple, with no Wi-Fi or modern amenities, perfect for a digital detox. The food, homemade by Mr. Mohanan and his wife, Divya, was a treatโ€”each meal felt like a warm, local experience. Lt. Col. Sudhir was a fantastic host, offering great tips on local temples and hidden beaches weโ€™d never have found on our own. Itโ€™s a quiet, off-grid retreat where you can truly unwind and enjoy nature. If you're after peace, stunning views, and a chance to disconnect, I highly recommend this place.

I was not able to call the host until we reached the property. But then I realised the caretaker wasn't informed about our booking, although it was made a long time back! But she ensured we got checked in within ten minutes of arriving at the location. However, I think the host should have informed the caretaker of the booking in advance! The property is nicely kept, offers great privacy, and a view of the sea from that balcony! We enjoyed the serene ambience very much.

Great stay for a family reunion. Located beautifully in the midst of nature. Serene and peaceful. Highlight of the place is definitely the lake and the โ€˜Swing rideโ€™ that gives you Bali feels. Host is responsive and helped us with the itinerary as well. Cook is also good and accomodating Only downside (if I can say so) is that the location is a little far from the city center and the approach road is not that great. But it was all communicated before hand by the host and tbh we didnt actually mind. It added to the charm of the place. 5 stars

It is a good place and you can have a nice time working and living here. All facilities are there to make this a vivid coliving - a nice kitchen, a garden area, spacious couches and a common desk area. (The pictures are 100% real). I regret that I had no real contact to the other guests though during my short 3 days stay. But when I ran into a gathering of Athul with his friends I got invited to join and felt like an old friend immediately โ€“ indian hospitality at its best. The place is in walking distance from downtown with a good selection of restaurants, shops, markets and the railway station. It's a residential area still so if you're planning on activities like going to the beaches be prepared to take a Rikshaw.

Our stay in Tonyโ€™s place was too good. It was exactly as shown in images. Food and accommodation were also good and we have zero complaints. Host tony was also very helpful and guided us with nearby places to visit. Definitely recommend this homestay.

This was my first stay at a homestay. I wasn't sure what to expect. However it turned out to be a great experience. We were welcomed with a refreshing lemonade drink by friendly host. They helped us settle down quickly. All amenities are good. We being strict vegetarian, kitchen was really useful. Thank you Babu and special thanks to Amma as well. Beach is just five minutes walk where we spent lots of time.

The place was an absolute heaven. If you want a quite, peaceful, beautiful place for yourself, away from the city chaos, this is the place to go. The lake at your footsteps, cool morning breeze and a breathtaking view from the room makes your day even before it starts. The host is also friendly and helpful. Mare 4km from thrikaripur railway station.
