Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Thurgau

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located directly on the lake shore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

The entire accommodation is beautiful, we would have loved to move in there. Everything is totally clean, modern, new and equipped with everything and more than you need. Large garden with deck chairs, hammock and large terrace, where you can relax and spend the day. Great kitchen and totally beautiful bedrooms. You are not far from the bus and train and thus quickly in Constance. Mario is a super friendly and accommodating host, you feel comfortable and welcome. The accommodation helped make our stay something special. I appreciate it 😍

All are very clean, and there's everything we needed for our week-long stay with a small family . Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. My stay at Franziska's place was great! The apartment is spacious and very pretty and furnished with a lot of taste, you immediately feel comfortable! The contact with Franziska was always very nice and she was helpful in every situation. If I were to seek relaxation at Lake Constance again, this would certainly be with Franziska, as it is very quiet and sunny and the beautiful garden invites you to linger. I can easily recommend this address:-)

I was extremely happy and satisfied with the place. For parking matters, ask in advance, you can purchase a full-time parking permit for the blue zone in the municipality, 3 minutes walk away. I would check in with Elisabeth again anytime. TOP

Martin is a beautiful host, and his communication is great. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, and he filled it with nice treats for breakfast. His communication was always helpful and made everything easy. I really enjoyed my stay.

Monika's apartment is very nice and was extremely clean. You can get to Constance very quickly by bike. The communication with Monika was super relaxed and we were very warmly welcomed. In very warm temperatures, it can of course also get very warm in the city apartment, fly screens would be ideal for ventilation, otherwise everything was great! 😊

Stefanie was an excellent host, always immediately available and super friendly. Her guest apartment was super clean and very stylishly furnished. The area was perfect especially for people who want to relax, the surroundings very quiet and the connection to the next village for shopping also very close.

Catia and Lukas are exceptional hosts. I had a hard time believing all the other reviews but they are all true to reality✨ The place is of a quality and cleanliness that I have never seen on Airbnb. Everything is thought out in every detail, the little touches, the decor, the quality bedding very comfortable, the walk-in for clothes, etc. We stayed with our 2 year old twins and were able to enjoy the sunny days in the garden or on foot in the neighborhood. The planes taking off and the cows were much appreciated 😉 The environment is quiet and peaceful except maybe the bell tower right in front that rings all day.. and all night (!!) but it's part of the charm of the place 🤭 Close to Zürich by car with parking right in front, that's perfect. Thanks again to Catia and Lukas for this warm welcome 😊

It was such a wonderful house that you could say "I wish this apartment was mine"! It was a very peaceful, enjoyable, wonderful accommodation that I never wanted to leave. I must admit that I had a hard time leaving. Everything was very nice. The apartment was modern. The hosts were extremely friendly, understanding and sweet people. I will definitely go a few more times. Thank you so much for everything!

A nice, likeable hostess. Greeted us all directly in person. The accommodation (house) is very cozy, equipped with everything. We felt right at home and would have liked to have stayed longer. ( 4 days ) We would like to come in winter and use this beautiful fireplace in the living room. We say THANK YOU for a lovely weekend getaway.

Adi and Martina were lovely! they made sure I felt at home and managed to accommodate all of my requests while giving me my own space too.

The accommodation was easy to find and is located in a beautiful area that invites you to walk. It was quiet and the accommodation was clean and lovingly furnished. The hosts also responded quickly, but I only saw it when I was back in the apartment, as I had limited internet on my phone while on the go. 😅 You just have to see how you want to walk from the train station to the accommodation. We walked different paths and then found the perfect path for us. In addition, the environment is so beautiful that we quickly forgot how much we actually walked. What we then also had to pay attention to was that we did not bring any animals into the accommodation. 😅😂 There was a situation where we wanted to open the front door and then a frog was sitting at the bottom of the door. Fortunately, we saw it in time. I can definitely recommend it 🙏🙏
