We had an amazing 2-night stay at this lovely homestay in Lebong. Located in the serene outskirts of Darjeeling, it was the perfect escape from the rushed crowd and noise of the main town. The surroundings were quiet, green, and absolutely beautiful, ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight,simple, tasty, and truly home-like. We also enjoyed exploring the local area and soaking in the peaceful vibes. If you're looking for a calm, authentic experience away from the touristy chaos, this homestay is a gem. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely love to return!

A quiet, peaceful and budget stay. Both Uncle and Auntie took care of us like their own daughters. We felt safe there. Uncle personally met us at DHR Station to receive us. The food made by Auntie was delicious (we tried new local food thanks to her). And Uncle shared various interesting life experiences of his. Thank you Uncle and Auntie for all the care we received during our stay. ☺️ But since the road to this place is a steep slopes one, this might not be much suitable for aged people with health issues. Otherwise it's Definitely a good place to come back to. 😄 P.S.: How can we forget the friendly Doggo-Kitty duo! They made our stay even more memorable. Such cool models for photoshoots 🙌🏾

I had a fantastic stay at Noddy's place! It's rare to find such a great combination of comfort and affordability, especially with perks like free car parking and high-speed internet. The space felt luxurious, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city without breaking the bank.

The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.

Our first AirBNB booking at The English Cottage was truly beautiful! The heritage cottage vibes and ethereal mountain views won our hearts immediately. The Deck has gorgeous views! Despite always staying in hotels for all our trips, this homely atmosphere, immaculate room and all the available amenities made us very comfortable. Sharon and Sanjeev are truly Superhosts! Sharon goes above and beyond, customizing breakfast for each guest and ensuring everyone feels at home. Every morning felt like a family meal with Sharon, Sanjeev, and other guests, sharing stories and enjoying a hearty breakfast. They gave excellent recommendations for things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try. They even loaned us ponchos and umbrellas for a rainy day forest trek because the ones we already had were small. We're looking forward to our next stay here; it truly feels like a home away from home, and that's simply priceless! - Anwesha & Pratik

We had a wonderful stay at Sangeeta’s charming homestay, The Attik!! I traveled with my wife and two sons, and the space was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Uday and Sangeeta were extremely warm and gracious hosts—very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. Uday uncle offered us great local recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. While, Sangeeta auntie made our stay memorable with extremely delicious breakfast during our stay! It felt like home during the interesting and warm conversations with uncle and we were touched with the humble and grounded gesture of uncle and auntie! Overall, the neighborhood was peaceful and safe, ideal for families. We truly appreciated the thoughtful aesthetic touches and personalized hospitality that made our trip special. Rapden & Ankita were great host. Ankita greeted us and welcomed us same as meeting an old friend. She was proactive throughout the stay. Made us feel like home from day one. We enjoyed the stay a lot. Despite our booking for a short room they upgraded us to a comfortable one considering our needs. Thank you so much for making us feel like home.
