Great stay of 6 nights here! Hosts were very kind and flexible, provided a couple recommendations in the area, and helped me try traditional Ladakhi food. Room was clean and nice, mine with a great view of the mountains. Property has a garden. It’s an easy walk to most things in Leh—and in a very quiet area, so was easy to relax. Hot water and wifi worked well (important given some phone plans, including international, don’t work in Ladakh).

the place is great with the photos matching the real property. the garden that surrounds the property is amazing and beautiful be had apricots and apples in the tree and good eat as many as we wanted. the checking process and the restaurant were also great.

‘Broq’ means mountain in the Balti language, and true to its name, this stunning stay is perched just below the village of Broq. I booked this for my newlywed nephew and his wife for their honeymoon, and they absolutely loved it. They were warmly welcomed with flowers and traditional dry fruits—a lovely local touch. The views are breathtaking, and they ended up dining only at the on-site restaurant, which offers food that’s both delicious and served with some of the best vistas you’ll find anywhere. The staff were kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back with my wife and kids. And for those seeking adventure, the Marsur Rock hike begins in the village just above, and the gravel cycling in the area is world-class.

The property is just 5 minutes from Skardu International Airport, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat—a true home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook your own meals, and the garden, surrounded by lush green trees and snow-capped mountains, is the perfect spot to relax. I highly recommend booking your day trips through Najam—whether it’s hiking, visiting lakes, trying local food, or exploring nearby attractions, he’s quick to assist and always responsive. The internet connection is excellent, hot water is available 24/7, and the electricity runs smoothly thanks to solar power. Overall, a wonderful stay with great vibes—highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable experience in Skardu.

We had a wonderful stay with Dawa and his family. Very gracious hosts, peaceful location, and very comfortable. We felt like family. Would highly recommend his place for any family visiting Leh.

The Nyanjan family is what you dream about when we talk real homestay. They are kind, responsive, prepare wonderful food and are prepared to give advice whenever you need something. The property is well run and is located in the middle of an green oasis. This is the place to be when you visit Phyang.

Oh my God!! If u are visiting Padum on the way to Leh or Zanskar I would highly highly recommend this homestay. Its a traditional Zanskari style home with all facilities like electricity, hot water and great views. But the thing that stands out the most is the host. Mr. Urgain is a gem of a person who could probably write a book about his personal experiences. He made us feel right at home and his stories abt trekking, his skying school, his travels and the local traditions made our trip complete. The cherry on top is his food and travel recommendations. He treated us with such simple homemade local delicacies that we never wanted to leave. I would 100% go back to stay at his place just to enjoy his company. Totally worth it...

Never have I ever felt so much at home in an Airbnb that we felt at Mrs. Wangmo’s place. She hosted us like family. It’s a beautiful house with spacious rooms, full time electricity & hot water supply in the bathrooms all day. We were proactively provided all the information we needed to locate the place, check in, & get comfortable. It is located right on fort road, at a walking distance from all great restaurants, bike rental shops, basically the entire main Leh market. We even experienced planting dahlias in the farm & I thank them for letting us do that! My brother even got sick from all the travelling & we were provided with every kind of support required. Words aren’t enough to describe how sweet & hospitable the couple is. They even cooked us homely breakfast everyday which was so comforting. We talked a lot whenever there was a chance to. I genuinely felt attached to the place & it was quite an emotional moment when we checked out. Highly recommended to stay here when in Leh!
