Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

We had a brilliant stay! Tosha and Robert were absolutely fantastic — friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and set in gorgeous surroundings. They went above and beyond to accommodate our 18-month-old, providing a stair gate, cot, and high chair, which made everything so much easier for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

This was one of the most amazing, if not the most amazing, air bnb experiences I have ever had. First, the location is incredible. You feel like you were placed in the middle of an ethereal countryside with nothing but rolling hills, the sound of birds, a gentle breeze and an occasional hello from the hosts smiling sweet dog Ella. Second, the house itself is exactly like the pictures on the listing, if not more beautiful in person. You can tell Sara has worked as a designer because the interior decor is stunning. Everything is so comfortable and clean and forces you into a state of relaxation immediately. Lastly, Sara herself is an angel. She will do anything in her power to make sure your stay is as peaceful and stress free as possible. I have never had a more helpful yet non-invasive host on Airbnb. If you are looking for a magical retreat into the gorgeous French countryside I couldn’t recommend this place more. I would plan a trip back to France simply for this air BnB. 1000/10!!

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Our stay was very pleasant, we have an excellent memory of it! No unpleasant surprises because everything was in accordance with the descriptions and instructions; on the contrary, we were delighted with the quality of the welcome offered with this charming accommodation, which is nicely decorated and arranged, very well equipped at all levels (indoor and outdoor). The bedding is extremely comfortable. Anne was very responsive, and flexible on our departure schedule. Everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic time in this spacious and cozy farmhouse. A great location, wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Enjoy the birds and butterflies in the large garden. Everything lived up to our expectations based on the property description and all the previous positive reviews. The property is in a stunning location and has every amenity we could wish for. Severine was super friendly and extremely flexible, it was clear that she wanted us to make ourselves completely at home both in the Airbnb property itself but also when using all of the amenities shared with her as she lives in the main house. If you plan to stay in the area this is definitely where you will want to stay!

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Nous avons vraiment passé un séjour incroyable!! On avait pas envie de partir!

We had a wonderful stay at Amandine and François’s property. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and both the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The pool and the views from the terrace were gorgeous. Amandine and François were lovely hosts, and gave some helpful recommendations for the area. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved James' place. It's a charming and interesting house in lovely surroundings, beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable and really well equipped. There is private parking right next to the house, and pretty outside spaces for sitting, eating or lounging outside. We received a very warm welcome and interesting local information from George and from James.

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

Very nice country house, tastefully furnished. A very warm host who even allowed us to taste the fresh eggs from his chickens!
