The Garden Flat - Luxury double Cotswold apartment

CraigRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Anne is a wonderful host and her cottage is just perfect for a 2-3 day getaway to visit the Cotswolds! Sparklingly clean, cosy, spacious lots of small added extras which made our stay even more pleasant. Anne’s insight into the Cotswolds and suggested restaurants and pubs and places to visit was extra special.

Church Steps Luxury Thatched Cottage in Ebrington

Beautiful place with lots of attention to detail. Very peaceful and we loved the local walks listed. We were sad to leave. It did get warm out while we were there and I worried about no ac but it stayed comfortable the whole time.

Vine Cottage

what a lovely place! Shipston on Stour has restaurants pubs and several supermarkets and is in a good position if you want to explore the Cotswolds. We manged to visit 3 towns, goto antique centres, have lunch and not feel rushed as places are only 15 minutes appart. The cottage is delightful and beautifully decorated. I can't think of anything we might have needed as it was already there! The garden is obviously a passion and lovely as well. After being busy all day it was an oasis to just relax with a cup of tea. hopefully we will be back soon. many thanks to Claire for excellent communication and gardening tips!

Secluded Cotswold Hideaway

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful, peaceful spot! The cottage is next to the house but because of how it faces, it feels really private for both. A lot of thought has gone into this place and it shows. Paul was warm & welcoming, we couldn't resist buying some of his wonderful honey. The mezzanine is huge, the photos don't do it justice! The kitchen is tiny but well stocked. I've lit plenty of wood burners before but Paul's tips still taught me something new, & I got a strong fire going with just 1 match and no firelighters. The downstairs bedroom and ensuite were perfect for my partner's elderly mum who has reduced mobility, and though she could manage the low sofa, she was happy in the armchair. Visiting from Italy, this was her first experience of the English countryside and she absolutely loved it! The meadow was perfect for a wander in the sunshine, & the views from the big windows were gorgeous. The Cotswolds isn't cheap, but this place was worth it for such a special trip!

HONEYSTONES, Moreton-in-Marsh, close to the train

SharanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay here! It was even better than the photos & we instantly felt at home. Within 10min walk of Moreton-in-Marsh station, it was very easy to find and a bus stops 3min down the road which takes you to Stow on the Wold, Lower Slaughter & Bourton on the Water. Lovely little fireplace that is ready to use too, we enjoyed long walks exploring in the day and could unwind by the cosy fire in the evenings. A perfect stay, we’d book this place again. Thanks Malc & Petra :)
