Farmstay holiday rentals in Tohoku Region

We felt so welcome at Tada’s home and the Iwaki location offered very good immersion in the local culture. We hired e-bikes, visited amazing art galleries and Tada’s cooking is exceptionally delicious and pro!

This place was great and the owner was really accommodating. I only regret that we couldn't have stayed a bit longer and gotten to know everyone better, as we were only there for a night and we were out most of the day. Next time we're in Fukushima I'd love to stay here again.

I had a good time with my energetic dad and mother. The food was delicious and very satisfying, and I was absolutely right to ask for dinner. It was nice to go to the hot spring at night and in the morning, and to spend time in the attic space was reminiscent of the fun as a training camp when I was children, and I was able to experience the extraordinary experience in a calm place. Thank you for a wonderful time.

LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!

It was a very nice old house in a beautiful landscape, and I spent a quiet night listening to the frogs sing.They responded immediately to our questions in advance.Only the WiFi was malfunctioning, and I tried several times, but it didn't connect.It was late at night, so I didn't contact them, but I think this host would have responded immediately.It is a nice old house that I would like to use again if I have the opportunity.Thank you very much.

Kazue was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area as well as about travel in Japan. The room was very clean and had great decorations, and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The apples and apple juice from the farm were delicious!! Great place to explore the countryside.

I stayed for 5 nights with a family of four. 　The host was very kind, and from the time of booking, he was able to respond in detail and with just the right distance, so I was reassured. 　The accommodation itself is charming, and the space is spacious, so I was able to relax.There was a kitchen, so it was helpful to be able to cook simple meals. It was a long trip back home, and the schedule was packed, but it was great to be able to relax at the inn. The various varieties of apple juice on sale are very delicious, and I bought them many times during my stay.The children also enjoyed drinking it and liked it so much that they had it mailed to their homes as a souvenir. Thank you very much, Mr. Kitada, the host.I would love to stay again when I return, so I look forward to it.

Great place, perfect for our family. Had everything we needed to cook with our fussy kids. Jason was great with his guide before we came so we were prepped. Really appreciated the little touches and the tips provided.

We loved our stay at Jason’s apartment! It’s compact, but plenty of space for our family of four with two teenage kids, and a well equipped kitchen if you want to stay home and cook. It’s halfway between the ski lifts and high street - an easy five minute walk in both directions. Jason was a very accommodating host with lots of fantastic recommendations and local tips. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at his house for three nights. The owner is a hospitality person. He treated me well, and we communicated very well while I was staying at his home. He’s a sincere person, and we have shared many interesting stories. I would come to his house again if possible in the future.

We loved our stay! Six of us slept comfortably in the two bedrooms (very comfy beds). Jason's in-house booklet of info and local tips - especially the recommendations on where to eat - was greatly appreciated (hot tip from us - if you're a group of 6 in peak times, book restaurants ahead if you can). Location was ideal - away from the main street, but close enough to comfortably walk to everything, including the gondola and the Kenmei-ji Temple. We were happy to sit around the kitchen table in the evenings, but if you want more space, the communal lounge is spacious and comfortable. Great spot!

It was a very nice experience. The boss and his family are very friendly and friendly. The boss speaks great English. Even if you don't speak Japanese, it's no problem to communicate.🤗 The hot springs here are pure natural, the owner and family are very attentive to cleaning, and every corner is spotless.Moreover, the interior of the inn is also very worth visiting. Although it is a small old building, it can be seen that it is very attentive to business. Many unique small decorations, it looks very cozy, very suitable for taking pictures! It was really beautiful when it snowed in this place in Blackstone, every place is like a painting, although the traffic is not very developed, as long as the itinerary is arranged strictly according to the timetable of the bus and tram, there is no problem, the hotel is two steps away from the bus, it is very convenient. I hope to come back next spring in the spring, look at the cherry blossom trees and apple trees by the road, now it's all snow, there should be a completely different view in spring, right?🤔

The hostess is friendly, gentle, smiley, can help immediately if there are any problems, the property keeps it well for the whole wooden building, the decor is warm and feels like home, it is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious and comfortable bathing space, a sleeping room, an impeccable accommodation environment. The host lady lives in the room on the first floor with two shy kitties and shares the first floor common space with the guests, the room where guests live on the second floor, the toilet has three rooms, there is no problem with the number of people using it, it is a pleasant stay, highly recommended.
