We enjoyed our relaxing time.The sauna is easy to use, lukewarm, and the heat. Pet-friendly floor plans and flat floors are fine.And something new. The furniture and fixtures were minimal and of high quality, and it was a great space. It was an overnight stay this time, so I'd love to stay next time. I hope this message finds you well.

The cottage itself might not be traditional Japanese architecture but the inside definitely is. Taller people could experience some issues but it's manageable with a little care. The kitchen is well equipped but the space is limited and if you prepare a lot of dishes at the same time, it's quite annoying. Would definitely recommend to use a rental car because you can access most restaurants and supermarkets within a couple minutes, as by foot, it can be a real pain to walk every time you need something. Overall a nice experience and would definitely recommend for larger groups up to 6 people.

accommodation is spacious, clean and in a very peaceful area. the hosts were very helpful. they picked us up at the train station, gave us great tips about the area and insight in the Japanese farm life. they drove us to interesting areas outside of the village.

My husband and I stayed one night.It was just around the time to see the autumn leaves, and it was a very calm environment with a colorful autumn leaves around the area. It was really perfect for relaxing away from the city, and I slept for the first time in a long time.The outside terrace was also large, and the breakfast in the beautiful air was exceptional. The dishes and futons are also very clean.We'd love to stay again for our consecutive holidays.

While the location is in a residential area and not close to major tourist spots, I found this to be a plus for a peaceful and quiet stay. Having a car made it easy to explore the surrounding areas. I stayed with my family and one dog.They also provided amenities for dogs, and our dog was able to relax with us.Also, they prepared a bed on the first floor, so I was able to spend time with my dog in an unfamiliar environment with peace of mind. The surrounding environment is just right for a walk, and the morning walk was pleasant. Thank you for your consideration.

Very friendly owners who welcomed us and helped us. The apartment is very clean, well-equipped. There is a private parking. There is some noise coming from the street and the road, attenuated during the night.

So amazing to wake up to that view and walk out onto the beach. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very helpful and friendly. There are body boards you can use for free. Only note for other guests is you cannot stand upright upstairs so that can be challenging with a young baby, but that is not the fault of the property!

Words truly cannot describe how amazing this airbnb is. The cabin itself is very homely and has everything you may need. It has a very rustic vibe and makes you feel at ease as soon as you step foot inside the door. The surroundings is best view I have had at an airbnb by a country mile. Relaxing while reading my book with the view was truly one of those lifelong memories to hold onto. Not to mention the bird calls around were spectacular. Finally, Ura-san is the nicest airbnb host I have ever met. He is kind hearted and welcomed me with a smile. He accommodated me in anyway possible with lifts, recommendations and indeed his famous blueberry jam for my toast in the morning. I really hope to come back one day.

It was a very quiet and beautiful place in a villa in the forest at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake. The room was very beautiful, fully equipped with cooking utensils, and we had a comfortable stay. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!

Very nice place with sea views. Our host was very welcoming with us. We didn't pay attention to the lack of hobs in our rental, but he kindly accepted that we use the kitchen of the coffee he manages nearby and even gave us some cooking tips! A very nice stay, living up to the reputation of Japanese hospitality.

This was our first time in Japan and our host truly made the experience so much more enjoyable. She helped us with getting to certain places, always responsive, and so kind. If you need a place to stay away from the loud city life of Tokyo this is the perfect place. From the peaceful views, the walkable park, and the kindness and peacefulness of the people in town…it was exactly what I needed. I can’t wait to come back again.

We stayed at the place for a week and felt very comfortable. The place was very clean and the kitchen well equipped to cook for yourself. From Kawazu you can explore the Pacific coast and surrounding places well, especially nature is wonderful in spring. Momoko and James responded reliably, quickly, and in detail to all our questions. The area around the house is really very quiet, there is hardly a car passing by. The only thing that comes with the location in the forest are quite large spiders that come out in the evening, so you should be aware of it if you have a spider phobia.
