Cats are not allowed in cafes and accommodation spaces. You can interact with cats in the courtyard. You can eat and drink while looking at the cat courtyard from the cafe. You can see the night view of downtown Nagano from the cafe space. You can also stay with your dog. Please bring what you need for your dog. However, pets are not allowed in the courtyard. You can come and go freely in the later space. Cafe menu with breakfast. The terrace was severely deteriorated and was removed in December. Cosplay photography can be done indoors. BBQ can be done in the backyard after leaving the terrace. The BBQ set rental is 1,500 yen. There is a free work corner in the Japanese-style room. Built in the late Edo period, when the Shogunate was reigning, this house was used as a silk mill in the 19th century. Surrounded by lush nature, the house nests in a region with deep forests and hot springs. One of the nearby hot springs is Kusatsu which is one of the most famous in Japan, where the Shogun came to rest, and became a model for the ghibli film “Spirited Away”.
