Self contained unit, kitchenette with tea & coffee making facilities, microwave. Walking distance to the local Tavern for refreshments and meals. Quiet country township.
“Purpose built space ideal for 1 or 2 people looking to explore the South Coast. Very clean and nicely laid out. Well stocked kitchen but no cooking surface and little counter space which is a bit limiting. The bed was comfortable and the bath accommodates individuals with disabilities. Also includes a ramp for mobility challenged. Can serve as a good base for exploring much of the south coast of the South Island. Definitely recommend it to other travelers.”
Cosy and private three bedroom cottage nestled in a large garden and surrounded by rural farmland. Beautiful 100 year old house. Perfect for a family or group for relaxation in the country.
“We stayed for two nights with our two daughters. This was a great house for us, the house is old with taste of how it was in the old days, but with all modern comfort. We chose this location because we are traveling at the Catlins area and it is very easy and quick traveling from this location. The house was very clean and beds are comfortable, hot water with no problem. Be aware that this house is isolated, you will have all the privacy you want. I recommend this house for staying.”

“This home is all about the stunning views and its proximity to nearby places of interest. Take the time to visit the old school (Niagara Falls Cafe) which is a cafe with wonderful, homemade cakes and coffee. It is also a short drive to stunning ocean views of The Catlins We loved it.”
