Our unique Flax Pod cabin is a repurposed shipping container with epic views of Golden Bay. It suits a relaxed couple, has a comfy queen bed, sofa and kitchenette. Large bi-folding doors open onto a deck where you can totally relax, enjoy a cold beer, sink into a quirky hot tub and soak up the sea views. Whilst stargazing you can catch both the Pillar Point and Farewell Spit lighthouses.

Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.

The house is over the road from the beach and close to all Marahau facilities including the National Park. You will have your own private entrance through a covered outside porch that has a couch and 2 chairs and is a lovely extra space to relax. Upstairs you have a bedroom, bathroom and living room which has a pull out coach for a third guest.
