Incredible remote location to reset and unwind Quiet and beautiful Farm animals around (horses, goats, donkeys) but very friendly and actually fun to interact with Saw coyote one morning (not close to house) Lots of amenities on the property… hot tub, fire pits and separate small house (w AC) to read or sit Porch all around the house that was awesome for sitting and relaxing Wonderful place Will go back !!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this poolside cabana! Having direct access to the pool and play area was a highlight for our kids (ages 10 and 6) and truly made the trip special for our family. The cabana was the perfect size for our getaway—clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities we needed. The bed was super cozy, and the AC kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful, and felt very safe. We would definitely book this Airbnb again—10/10 recommend!

This home was unique and has so much personality. I couldn’t stop exploring looking at pictures, antiques, and all the Marilyn Monroe memorabilia!!! Absolutely beautiful. I wish I had more time to spend there.

My husband and I rented this cabin for 3 Days 2 nights anniversary stay. We really enjoyed the seclusion of not being super close to Neighbors, surrounded by trees and nature. It was very peaceful and Serene. The cabin had many amenities to keep us entertained while having romantic evenings. We loved the vaulted ceilings, the large porches, the hot tub, the porch swing was one of my favorite places to sit, and we loved the large two shower head shower. It was also cool that there was trails to the pond and other games to play in the coffee table. We had such a good time there and would recommend this cabin for any reason to go stay there. We hope to return in the future!

Linda's place was exactly what I needed. It's so green, so peaceful - exactly what I needed for a stress free stay. The birds chirped every day, the frogs serenaded me at night, every day I watched a fox and her kits traipse through the grounds like they owned the place. I wandered the 10 acres for hours. Between the vineyard, the pond, the chipping golf course and just her design of the entire property, it was perfect. The loft has kind of a rustic, organic design that I appreciate. Douglas MacArthur, the calico cat, loves attention and will hang out as long as you want. Linda is great, very communicative, helpful, my kind of people. If you're considering Green Shoe, this is your place to relax in the evening, 15 minutes from the foundation. Book this place - I'll be back for sure.

Shereen was very responsive and helpful!! The place looked like the photos. It is a little walk to the lake and you can’t see the lake from the house but it was still beautiful countryside. Very spacious and lots of yard space for games and being outside. Didn’t use the lake front as water was really high and you couldn’t walk out to the dock because of this. Not her fault of course just be aware if you are renting during a rainy time. Lots of sleeping spaces and great kitchen!! Would definitely consider renting again.

We stayed for just one night with our pups and it was perfect for a quick getaway. Kathleen was very clear in her instructions and check in was easy and quick. The pups loved roaming along the path in front of the house. Would definitely stay again!

Doug was super helpful and responsive and the stay was amazing! His two dogs were ultra sweet and made the time spent outside so much more fun. The space was super cozy and so unique. I adore it! I would def stay there again if I ever find myself in Dallas again!

The location was beautiful with absolutely stunning views of the mesas. It was super peaceful and secluded and hearing no sounds of the city, just wind and wildlife was so refreshing. It made it really easy to relax and enjoy time with my family. Cerita was kind, welcoming, and responsive, and she even left us some thoughtful gifts. She and Eddie stopped by and shared some very interesting info about the land and buildings, which we really appreciated. We took some lovely walks and saw all kinds of amazing birds, lots of cows, and even heard wild turkeys in the trees near the house. The turkeys did talk back when I called to then too which was so funny. The prickly pears were blooming and they looked so much more fresh and vibrant than the ones we see in the Sonoran desert. We also really loved using the grill and outdoor tables to really enjoy the fresh air and the scenery. I had such a great time with my family and absolutely loved the house. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect for my needs! Clean, quiet, all the amenities that I needed. And I appreciate Carol's friendliness and great communication. It's an older house, but kept in very good shape. I felt right at home.

We had a fantastic stay! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the location is great - close to all the lake amenities, including the state park, restaurants, and a convenience store, and Ardmore is just down the street and was a great town. The house was clean, and easily accommodated our family of 4. We kayaked & fished around the pond, and watched the geese patrol the shore. There were also bad storms one of the nights we stayed, and we were very thankful for the option of the storm shelter. Thank you, we’ll be back!

Great place to stay. Exceded our expectations. Only problem was we didn't stay long enough as we were just passing through. Will have to plan to stay longer.

The place was identical to the photos even more beautiful, a super clean and cozy house but above all with a lot of peace and away from everything and equipped with everything you need to spend a good vacation, without any noise it is a perfect place, I loved it and fell in love, without a doubt we will return many more times!🥰🥰🥰

Absolutely beautiful home! Mark was there to show us around and was so helpful while showing us things about the home. They were very responsive and accommodating. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Truly a gem!

We loved this place, everything was really clean & organized, she was so kind and shared some eggs for our breakfast, the place is beautiful and it has everything you need so u don't have to worry about anything it's like your own home with all necessities on it... We enjoyed the pool too it's very clean... Hope we can come back it's a perfect place 😊

Sheri was a wonderful hostess! She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic vacation. The house was super clean and smelled great! The views were absolutely breathtaking as well. Sheri even recommended a local restaurant which was super delicious! We highly recommend staying at Sheri’s place if you are in the area!

This was my sixth stay at Martha and Jim’s, and it truly feels like a peaceful oasis away from the chaos of everyday life. Their home is something special—calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained in every way. Martha and Jim are the most attentive hosts I’ve ever encountered, always making sure everything is just right, yet they’re never intrusive. They strike the perfect balance of being available without ever being overbearing. I’ve written several reviews for them already, and honestly, I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate their hospitality and the comfort of their beautiful space. If you’re looking for rest, beauty, and a place that feels like a home away from home, this is it.

This was a great house! 7 adults and 3 little children. The kitchen is much bigger than it looks in the picture and was great for cooking family meals. Spacious with comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. The absolute best part of this house was the huge back patio and side yard! The kids rode their scooters, played t-ball and soccer. We made smores each night by the firepit and enjoyed the hot tub. We never used the pool because there was just too much to enjoy outside. Short drive/ walk to Ogallala beach, beautiful views. Easy drive to town and to the 2 golf courses! Just a great stay!

This was our first stay in the Renovated Barn, but not the first time to the property. We stayed in the Aggie House a few months back and just knew we had to return to Mark and Jamee's beautiful property whenever we could. The barn is a bit larger than the Aggie house, with a full-sized kitchen and larger living room space, but it still holds all the charm, comfort, and coziness. And they've preserved the history of the old dairy farm in such a lovely way throughout the space. We spent hours on the covered front porch reading, eating our meals, watching the friendly chickens, petting Mark and Jamee's sweet dog, Ralph, when he'd make the rounds, and thoroughly enjoying the breathtaking view. Even when we had a downpour of heavy rain, the front porch was the perfect spot. We're so lucky to have this getaway space within a few minutes of our home!

Ashley’s place was absolutely fantastic! From the start, communication was seamless, and she was incredibly accommodating with our request for an early check-in, which made our arrival stress-free. The home itself was spacious, clean, and exceptionally comfortable—perfect for our family getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the easy access to the pool and workout area, which was a huge bonus. The kids especially loved the surrounding area and had a great time exploring. All the instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made settling in very smooth. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose to stay here again. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to town!
