We felt immediately at home at Nieves! The house was beautiful, spacious, cozy, quiet and clean. Nieves was always responsive and available when we had questions. We felt very much at home and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Nieves for sharing your home....and dogs! Sally

We had a really great time at Valerias place. Everything is as described and better. Daniela welcomed us warmly and throughout our 3 weeks there she was always reachable and happy to help us out. Valerias cosy house was a great base for us from which we we able to explore the beautiful beaches and towns of the Salento region. On cloudier days our two sons (1 and 2) enjoyed playing in the closed backyard. The pizzeria next door offers delicious pizza and pasta and they even Lent us a vacuum cleaner to clean out the rental car. The same basically goes for the whole town. Everybody was really friendly and welcoming, especially towards our kids 🙃. Close by you can also find a really nice bakery with delicious bread, pinsa and other delicacies. I could go on like this for some time, but I don't want to bore anyone with the details of our trip. So to wrap it up: I can fully recommend staying at Valeria's! We would love to come back some day.

Gabriella's place was absolutely stunning! The photos can't do the beautiful grounds and landscape justice. Both Gabriella and Clara were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, and their local suggestions for beaches, sights and restaurants were great. Both ourselves and our friends (who were staying at one of the other villas on the property) were travelling with infants, and found the layout and amenities (they tracked down a second set of cribs/high chairs for us) great for children. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Salento.

The accommodation felt so authentic, it was wonderful. Coming back from a hot day outside, it was like going back in time when entering the fresh house. The location is very central and makes it easy to visit both the Adriatic and the Ionian coast if you have a car. I would 100% recommend!!

My husband and I were in town for a wedding. The church was 2 mins walking from the Airbnb and it was very convenient findingg everything in town. There were plenty of places where we could eat, drink and shop. We love the private space and the location was not on the main street so noise was surprisingly lower than I expected it to be. The host checked in to make sure we were ok and was responsive. It was about 8 min walk from the train station making it very convenient for us. I would definitely booked again if I'm in Lecce again.

perfect accommodation, with lots of amenities and close to Otrento. Peaceful with its private garden, two bedrooms with their own bathroom. Gianni's hospitality is remarkable, very good advice among other things on the village bakery which is exceptional. The atmosphere of this small village is great, with its cobbled streets. The accommodation is secure and air-conditioned. The ground floor bedroom is very nice, the 2 bathrooms are very practical. all amenities are close and you can get around on foot (bakery / COOP) I will be happy to come back. This listing is a gem!!!!!

The apartment is very spacious and has a very comfortable, homey feel. The private terrace is lovely. It is a perfect location on a side street not far from all the attractions and various shops. We would definitely stay here again. Mario was very helpful and responsive with the remote check in.

Wonderful stay! Ilario met us in the street to make sure we were parked in the right spot. He took us in and explained the construction of the home, which was very interesting. He provided us with a map and recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Great location. Walkable to many of the sites and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

It was such a pleasure to spend a few days at this hidden gem, hosted by Emanuele, his wife Laura, sister Giulia, and parents Simonetta and Tomasso, all of whom made us feel right at home. We were spoiled by the daily breakfasts they prepared, and Emanuele provided many great local recommendations for us. The pool and surroundings are so peaceful, and the room was very comfortable. We could not have asked for a better place to explore Salento from, or for more generous and welcoming hosts!

Great house and amazing property in the middle of nowhere with great sunsets and just absolutely idyllic. Very stylish decor. Everything you need is there. Super nice owners. As already described by others before, the pictures are a bit misleading, because you can't exactly distinguish what is private area and what is shared area. And the wall to the owner could actually be thicker. But all in all, a very strong recommendation!

We loved Palazzo Umberto and felt a bit overwhelmed (in a good way) with its beauty and grounds full of lemons, limes and oranges. The space was perfect for two couples and we had lots of room to spread out. The furnishings are beautiful and the linens are gorgeous! Everything smelled so clean. It was great to have access to a washing machine as well. We also got to experience Poggiardo’s adorable streets, the market and the best supermarket Conad. We just got back from Salento, and there's already a melancholy that makes you want to leave again. Everything was perfect, a week of pure relaxation. Pamela is an extremely friendly host and, although we only communicated by message, she was always responsive, responding immediately to every message. Marta welcomed us: she is a very nice Salento girl who was always present but discreet, she provided us with a lot of information about the surroundings and everything that could be useful to us. The meeting point is easy to find, then we were escorted to the property where Marta showed us the house and explained everything. Calling it a house is an understatement, the trullo is a real oasis surrounded by olive trees, characteristic, well-kept, clean and the private pool compensates for the distance from the sea. We thank both Pamela and Marta, we will carry a little Salento in our hearts hoping to return again. Nicolai and Luciana

Superhost - exactly what you expext from superhosts. We were with a 1,4 year baby. - they provided all equipment you expect for the child. Our baby got sick, helped with the hospital, gave all recommendations we needed, always reaponsive and very friendly. Villa was super for families, can’t dream about anything else.

A magical place where nature is the protagonist! Despite the incredible beauty of the house, with every detail taken care of, what breathes your breath is the garden and the priceless view. I hope to be able to return soon to this place where time seems to flow at a calmer pace. Suitable for enjoying every single moment in this paradise.

Everything was great. We felt right at home. Matteo's place is nice, privately located and secluded and has spectacular views of the ocean. You don't even need to go down to the beach and the ocean to feel at the sea.

The rental is very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. GIUSEPPE is a very welcoming and responsive host if needed. A special stay for 3 nights, in a lovely setting. Alessandro gave us fantastic recommendations for local shopping, and the kitchen faculties were great to cook in ! Spongano is a cute town, check out the icecream shop too. Alessandro's place has lots of space, and makes you feel like you're really staying in Italy !

Beautiful apartment. This season this Airbnb ticks all the boxes. It's a true paradise. We had a great week. You can't miss the sunrise over the sea. Access to the sea is a bit sporty and requires appropriate shoes, as recommended by Livia. But the pleasure is intense. The small beach of Acqua Viva a little further is very popular but absolutely fabulous. The recommendations of nearby restaurants served us well. We used this address to spread the word throughout Salento. The hosts of the apartment downstairs were charming and calm. We highly recommend it.

We loved this place in between sea and pine forest, tucked away at the edge of the village. Coffee outside looking a sea and forest was a treat. The friendliness of the older couple owners was special. They live next door in the summer months. The place is private and you can park right outside the door. The beaches are rocky around there, though there is a bit of town beach it’s better to drive out to the Bay of Turks. There are a few restaurants very close. A few minutes walk. Some walks around the cliffs. Otranto is a lovely city nearby. The apartment is very well appointed. Nice bathroom, good bed. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!
