Holiday rentals with beach access in Tórshavn

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The space was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with nearly every comfort of home. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding, and their warm welcome made us feel immediately at ease. When we accidentally left something behind, they went out of their way to return it—such lovely, considerate people. The accommodation itself was excellent, with just a short walk to nearby parking.

We had a wonderful stay in Hanna’s house. Everything was like on the pictures, there is all you need for a good stay. The house was very clean and you can cook meals easily with all the accessories. We liked the fact that even if your staying in a house together with the hosts, you have your full privacy. The city center is close to walk but make sure to check the free city bus. I would recommend this place if you want to visit the beautiful Faroe Islands.

The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely, including providing some gifts to make sure we were set up for the week, recommendations, and things happening around. We would recommend this place to stay, it's only a 10min free bus into the main town or a very short drive. Very spacious with great views for ferry spotting. There's a nice cat around which isn't allowed in. We would stay here again if we find ourselves back in the Islands! Thank you Eli for your hospitality and letting us stay in this lovely flat!

We are honoured to be Hans and Diana’s first-ever Airbnb guests, and it was an unforgettable experience. They warmly welcomed us with local beers and delicious salmon toasts. The apartment is charming and cozy, even better than the photos. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood in Torshavn, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Á Landavegur, a nice supermarket for snacks and groceries. Frequent buses, with a stop nearby, make trips to and from Torshavn’s city center a breeze. For hikers, the apartment’s laundry and technical room is a game-changer, equipped with everything needed to clean muddy shoes and dry clothes. What truly stood out, though, was Hans and Diana’s warmth and enthusiasm. On our final night, they took us to the historic village of Kirkjubøur, where we explored ancient ruins, centuries-old turf houses, and learned about traditional whale hunting. The friendship we formed was the highlight of our trip, and we highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Torshavn!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Høgni's. After a problematic start to my vacation (nothing to do with where I stayed!) Finally getting to my location Høgni really made me feel at ease and was very informative about his property and the sounding area. My stay was very comfortable and homely. The location was perfect, allowing me to move to place to place easily. I would give this a 5* rating. I have some advice for fellow travellers if you are coming from the UK. Be prepared that your phone signal won't work I use EE. I had to purchase a local sim card from Tórshavn the day after I landed, allowing me to use my Google maps.

Wir waren drei Nächte bei Magnus und Anna. Es war eine sehr ruhige, angenehme Unterkunft und ein gemütliches Bett. Wir haben es genossen, viel Platz mit einem eigenen Wohn/Esszimmer zu haben. Magnus war sehr nett und hat uns immer wieder gefragt, ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Unterkunft liegt ideal für Ausflüge in ganz Färöer. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten. Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft!

Pobyt w tym domku to była czysta magia! Miejsce zachwyca spokojem i niesamowitymi widokami — z okna rozciąga się malowniczy krajobraz na wodę z górami w tle, ponadto codziennie mogliśmy obserwować pasące się tuż pod domem owce. Domek jest przestronny, czysty i świetnie urządzony. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje kuchnia — doskonale wyposażona we wszystko, czego potrzeba. Można poczuć się jak w domu, a jednocześnie całkowicie oderwać od codzienności. Dodatkowym atutem była świetna lokalizacja – domek okazał się idealną bazą wypadową do zwiedzania Wysp Owczych. Na pewno będziemy polecać znajomym!

Great location, close to city centre and lots of restaurants. Also, close to major roads for exploring beyond the city. Lots of space for our large group. Kitchen was well equipped. Host was very responsive answering our questions. Highly recommend.

Senøva is een fantastische gastvrouw. Haar heel gezellige huis is perfect in orde. We voelen er ons direct thuis. Toen er even problemen waren in Torshavn met het stadswater heeft ze onmiddellijk op de hoogte gebracht zodat we maatregelen konden nemen. Senøva’s huis is een aanrader voor wie een gezellige plaats zoekt om in Torshavn te verblijven.

Absolutely wonderful! We loved our stay with Marjun. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and everything to cook a nice meal. The home is peaceful and clean. We highly recommend this location to anyone in the islands.

Le logement de Brynjer est un des plus beaux dans lesquels nous ayons séjourné, surtout le salon qui est une pièce incroyable, très vitrée, avec une vue dominante sur tous les environs. De là, on est à 8 min de l'hyper-centre de la capitale en voiture, à 55 minutes du ferry qui part pour Mykines, et de l'aéroport. La cuisine a un superbe ilot central, elle est très bien équipée. La TV se déplie depuis le mur, on est plus que bien dans le canapé. Pour ceux qui y sont sensibles comme moi, les fenêtres s'ouvrent en grand si on le souhaite (je le dis car on a fait des Airbnbs aux Féroés avec des fenêtres qui ne s'ouvraient que de quelques degrés). Je n'aime pas la chaleur mais pour ceux qui aiment, le chauffage de Brynjer est très performant et peut-être très puissant si on le souhaite. Brynjer a été très attentionné et réactif. Pas de marches, c'est accessible de plain-pied.

Séjour magique dans les îles Féroé. Appartement très spacieux, très propre et très calme (situé dans une impasse) au bout du port de Torshavn. Rannva et son mari sont très attentionnés. Des fruits frais nous attendaient à notre arrivée, plus plein d'autres gentilles attentions. J'ai très envie de revenir 🤗je recommande vivement

Rent och fräscht boende med alla bekvämligheter man behöver. Några minuters promenad till närmaste matbutik och till centrum. Vi tänker oss att turister på Färöarna inte tar sovmorgon, det kan också upplevas svårt att göra eftersom det är väldigt lyhört i bostaden. Man hör alla fotsteg men för oss gjorde inte detta något, vi skulle ju kliva upp för att utforska öarna varje dag. Vi rekommenderar det här boendet. Trevlig värd och bra läge!

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

Was für eine tolle Aussicht! Man hat schön Platz in der Wohnung, sie ist sehr geräumig. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht (Einrichtung ist live love laugh style). Super Gastgeber!

We had a wonderful stay at Samylyn´s apartment. She is a very nice, friendly and responsive host. She welcomed us and informed about everything we needed to know, and she was very helpful if we had any questions. The apartment was comfortable, nice, clean and had everything we needed and more for the stay. The location was perfect and it is very nice with the large windows in the living room with the view to the harbour. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great stay at Martin's. Beautiful setting with views of the mountains and the fjord. The planned apartment was not finished when we arrived, so we stayed in their house just above it. I am convinced that once completed, it will be of the same high quality as their house, and you will have a wonderful stay there.
