Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Tórshavn

Durita is a great host, her place is nice, and clean. Good location, easy access to downtown Torshavn, and most importantly, very affordable. Highly recommended!

Lovely host and lovely place :) The place was very clean and the toilet was cleaned by the host everyday! Kitchen has everything you need as well! :)

La chambre chez Lilja était petite mais très suffisante pour mon usage. Le lavabo dans la chambre était un plus appréciable. L'arrêt de bus est à 2 minutes à pied. Limja à été une hôte très accueillante chez qui je me suis sentie bien accueillie. et cerise sur le gâteau, le copieux petit déjeuner était inclus dans la chambre !

I had such a lovely stay. Easy communication and clear instructions. Nice and clean room (great view!) Location is great despite not being in central Torshavn, but perhaps more tranquille and very conveniently located near bus stops going to Torshavn (which is free!) or of public transportation to other islands. Would love to stay here again when I come back!

Excellent price/quality ratio. Cheap acommodation for faroese standards, big, comfortable and bright room, close to Torshavn city center, harbour, and SMS shopping center (convenient bus stop for the airport). Breakfast included. On the first floor there is only one bathroom for 4 rooms (up to 8 people), but in my case I never had to wait too long to use it. There is another bathroom on the third floor. A bit impractical to put shoes on and off when going from one floor to the other.

Jorgen was amazing host, he came to check the premises few times during the day, he was always willing to help and to chat, always ready for advices and recommendations, the breakfast and coffee he served was delicious as a perfect start for the day, the location was great in walking distance from the very city center and harbour/bus terminal...I am pretty sure we couldn't have better accommodation than was Jorgen's one!!!

Die unkomplizierte und gesellige Art des Gastgebers ist hervorzuheben. Ich nutzte vorallem das Zimmer, den kostenlosen Parkplatz und das Frühstück am Küchentisch von Jorgen, welches mir alles bot was ich benötigte. Ansonsten war ich unterwegs. Für eine Torshavn-Tour zu Fuss eine optimale Ausgangslage.

I really enjoyed staying at Jacklin's. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and made sure I had what I needed. Jacklin was very responsive and had great recommendations when I was trying to figure out what to do or where to go. Having a car is probably best if you're staying there - it's just on the outskirts of town - and about a 45 minute walk on a path nearby to centre town. The place was very clean and tidy. There were others staying there as well and I even made a new friend :) Breakfast was perfect and morning chats were very nice! A bonus were the cat & dog! Oh yeah, and if you can, take a horseback riding tour! It was a perfect way to finish my trip.

Wir haben eine Nacht in dem netten B&B von Annie verbracht. Alles hat gut gepasst, das Bett war bequem, das Gemeinschaftsbad sauber und das Frühstück war wirklich super. Gute Lage auf Vágar, keine 10 Autominuten zum Flughafen. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten.

L'host e la sua famiglia sono stati molto cordiali. La camera era abbastanza spaziosa. Buona la colazione. Prezzo un po' alto ma siamo vicino a Torshavn. La posizione è comoda per girare nella parte centrale dell'arcipelago e si trova a meno di 10 minuti dal centro della capitale. Non proprio chiaro l'ingresso nella via perché in questo momento stanno facendo dei lavori pubblici sulla strada

The Rhubarb House, Jorgen's homestay is at an ideal location in Tórshavn - within a walking distance from all sights and restaurants, and it offers free private parking places (rather rare). The room is just what we needed: sunny, well-furnished, with an accessible common kitchen (well-equipped - microwave, fridge, cookers, dishwasher, pots, utensils), common shower / toilet (if occupied, there is another on another floor) and a laundry room (clothes washing possible). The breakfast kindly offered from 7 to 9 is a life-saver, which is also a great possibility to talk a bit with Jorgen and his family. Overall, as a family of 4 we were very pleased with our stay, the facilities and the hospitability!

11 Tage Aufenthalt und jeder Tag war gleichbleibend zuverlässig gut: Freundliche Gastgeber, hilfreich, gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft, sehr gutes, umfängliches morgenmad/Frühstück. Würde wieder hin fahren!
