Beautiful location, cosy house, clean and comfortable

We were guests in this beautifully developed boathouse for a week. The location in the middle of the Faroe Islands is unbeatable, from here you can explore the whole country by car! It was just super cozy, quiet and relaxing here. The accommodation was exactly as described and everything was very clean and tidy. We were also very happy about the washing machine and dryer, you can't find that everywhere. Communication with the hosts was always very friendly, informative and fast. We can only recommend the accommodation as well as Maria and Pol as hosts and would definitely come again.

A great little base to explore Tórshavn. The apt is just off one of the main streets by the harbor and you can walk to all the restaurants and tour pick-up points. Place was cozy and cute for a couple or small family.

Very nice and lovely stay at Lina’s house. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Everything worked well from check in to check out and Lina answered questions in good time and was very proactive.

The place was just as described, we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and more, from kitchen utensils to an outstanding record collection. There’s shops only a short distance away and easy access to other towns as well. The house was very suitable for a family with children with many games and toys around. The view speaks for itself. A true place to just relax and wind down. The most outstanding feature though was Eyðfríð herself. Sadly we didn’t meet her but her communication and helpfulness is unparalleled in our experience. She helped us out in a pinch when we had some travel issues and gave us many recommendations on the way.

Torgard and Harry were great hosts. The house has everything you need for a lovely stay in Torshavn. Walkable to a nice market and to several restaurants. The downtown shopping area is walkable as well. Harry was very helpful with recommendations. The kitchen has everything to cook a gourmet meal. It was very nice to have a wash and dryer to catch up on our laundry. Thank you for a lovely stay!! Highly Recommend!!

First trip to Faroe Islands - wonderful welcome from our hosts with plenty of local tips. Great place to stay from which to travel all over the islands. Hot tub well used by us.

Torben is a terrific host, making sure we were set up and letting us know to get groceries in advance because the peaceful island of Nolsoy is sparsely populated and things close early. He checked to be sure we were ok without being intrusive. Directions were spot on and check out couldn’t be easier. His liberal checkout schedule is even timed to the ferries departing Nolsoy. The cozy house is shore front with views across the strait of Torshavn and is steps to walks in the village and hikes on the north side of Nolsoy island. The kitchen is freshly renovated with overly ample amenities. Abundance of kitchenware, spices and extras.

Really cozy apartment in a nice and quite surrounding overlooking the fjord. We had everything we needed and the apartment gets warm quickly with the heating. You just have to be aware that it is quite a drive to get to the spots because the cute little town is at the far end of a road but everything isn’t far on the Faroe.

So our flight to Faroe Islands never landed as the pilot couldn't see the runway due to thick fog and reverted back to Iceland, where we flew from. I texted the host - Inga and she was such a wonderful host that she refunded all the money that she would have gotten if we had occupied her place. This was unexpected and I'm beyond grateful for her generosity. I hope to visit Faroe Islands sometime soon in the future.

Really nice and functional apartment. Both larger and brighter than in the pictures. You won't find a better location in the middle of Torshavn, just behind the parking space at the harbor. Nice view of Torshavn from the terrace and living room. Super easy and flexible check-in and check-out via precise instructions from Anfinn.

A lovely apartment with a great view. Clean and tidy. Central location. Nice welcome . The only small minus was the lack of description of how the dishwasher is started. All in all, we were very happy with the apartment.

All good as described. Our mistake we missed that there is no wifi in apartament. But everything else as described and good

We loved our stay here in Tórshavn! The place was extremely comfortable and cozy, and was within walking distance of everything we needed. Parking was easy and we had no issues while staying in town and exploring other islands during the day. The hosts were extremely friendly!

Really nice, large and cozy apartment. Possibility of beautiful walks nearby, while the home is close to Thorshavn. Gudrid welcomed us with open arms, showed us around the apartment. On the kitchen table there was a fresh French bread and jam, in the fridge there was cheese, butter, milk and juice. We were in the apartment for 9 days, Gudrid and Jensen were helpful and interested in what we experienced without being intrusive. A really wonderful holiday, where we reached almost every corner of the Faroe Islands. Our highest recommendation

Excellent stay, the house was very cozy and tidy, we found everything very clean. It was very close to the center. We were going with a baby and Helgi helped us at all times by lending us a crib and high chair.

Perfect accommodation for a stay in the area, I recommend it! Thank you again for the fruit and cereal bar provided :) You have to plan ahead for the duration of the shower.

Andreas is a very nice and welcoming host. A lot of information is provided. The accommodation is extraordinary, meticulously clean, with beautiful modern and upscale decor. As in the photos. The view is magical, breathtaking, and calm reigns all around. It was a very nice stay, thank you!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

My wife and I spent 6 days in this beautiful apartment. Very clean and functional. Plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, lots of appliances, a large Smart TV, but above all great views. The location is great for visiting the Faroe Islands, in a short time you can reach the capital and all the islands. There are not many restaurants nearby, for those you have to move to the capital which is still only 30 minutes away. 10 minutes away there is a well-stocked supermarket. We recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy the peace of the Faroe Islands with a strategic location but also super quiet.

They call it a place UNDISCOVERED , we just spent a week Discovering the Faroe Islands , and stayed at Osvald’s place in Torshavn , We had a great stay , the apartment was well equipped and in a great location , a nice view of the Harbour , easy walking distance to city center , Osvald was accessible as he lives on site and was easily available for any questions or assistance . He was a great host and we recommend his apartment

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. The apartment was beautiful and well-stocked with everything we could need. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen. There were multiple grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. We also appreciated being able to do our laundry after a day of hiking. I would absolutely recommend this for your stay in the Faroe Islands!
