In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). You can enjoy a trip unique to this time of year, with Kamikochi, which opened in mid-April, the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, and Hakuba, where snow still remains. Mountain sightseeing during the day and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. Recommended for those who want to enjoy Ikeda-cho at a leisurely pace in early summer. As a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, we welcome stays of one night or more. It is a convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe.It is also a recommended time for sightseeing in the Northern Alps in early summer.Suitable for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. You can also get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are coming by train, there may not be a taxi at the station, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance.
