Based in Azumino/Ikeda-cho in autumn, embark on a journey to enjoy the spectacular views of the Northern Alps and the autumn foliage. From September to November, the autumn leaves gradually descend from the mountains to the villages in Shinshu. You can enjoy the unique autumn scenery in various places, including Hakuba Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and highlands to see the autumn leaves. When I get back, I'll relax in the sauna and the cold water bath. Please enjoy a quiet time in the countryside at night while enjoying a BBQ and the starry sky. This is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, making it ideal for family or group trips, as well as for couples or small groups. Conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe.There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, so you can stay comfortably even for extended periods. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange car rental, so please contact us in advance. October and November are the seasons to enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). This is a private rental accommodation in a renovated 45-year-old wooden house located in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. We are renovating it to make it comfortable for modern people to use, while maintaining the good points of an old house. It features a space where old and new materials coexist and you can feel the natural environment, including the garden. Even large groups can use it comfortably. We hope you can relax and use it as a base for sightseeing in Hokuriku and climbing the Northern Alps. There is a monitor, so it is also recommended for workations. As this is a private rental, you can use it as if it were your own home, but the store on the first floor is open on Fridays and Saturdays, and the host may stay there from time to time. We also accept pets, and you can bring them when you eat on the ground floor.However, regular customers also come to the store on Fridays and Saturdays, so if the dog barks too much, please keep it in the cage on the 3rd floor. The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.
