El pajar (the barn) de Casa del río is an independent one-bedroom apartment with private bathroom, kitchen and living room, built on a first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook your own meals. The apartment is basic and minimalist, but it’s also very comfortable and has everything you need for a enjoyable stay. The whole apartment has views to the valley. You can also use two shared terraces with views to the valley and the big garden. Please be aware that the apartments do not have washing machine, TV or microwave/oven. If you can’t live without those, this may not be the perfect place for your stay. Phone signal and wifi work perfectly and are quite reliable. Casa del río is the perfect way to scape the noise and experience first-hand living a simple and sustainable life in an Asturias village off the beaten track. The property is ideal for people who want to be away from the noise and crowds, as it is quite isolated and the village of Xio has no services at all. Closest services are a bar/restaurant/swimming pool 10min by car, and shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, petrol station, etc…20min by car.

Molino de Nicolao

This fabulous watermill stood empty and abandoned until it was recently fully restored and converted into a beautiful, comfortable home. Enjoy listening to the quiet rustling of the river while you drift off to sleep. The house sits on over a hectare of land and is extremely private, yet it has the convenience of being only a 2 minute drive to the local restaurant and a 5 minute drive the beaches and to the nearest village where you can find everything you need.

The tourist accommodation has 2 different APARTMENTS with a capacity for 4 people each and an individualized garden area.
