Million dollar view. Marco and Laura are the most wonderful hosts and we would happily return to this lovely property. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our guests. The property was exactly what we needed: being two, two bedroom houses, side-by-side; we had privacy, as did our guests. The property is well equipped and we enjoyed using the fire bbq, the pool, playing pool in the evenings. Cooking was delightful, using an extensive array of herbs and vegetation from the garden, planted by Marco and Laura. Our hosts have filled cupboards with towels for the house and for use at the pool and there is a washing machine in each property and a clothes line for drying. The wifi is good. Warm evenings sat at the al fresco patio table, with an exceptional view of snowy mountains and a mountain rock that inspired Dante’s Inferno, is very special. The stay with Alessandro and Diego was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 minutes away by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 minutes, … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights, 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Andrea was such a wonderful and helpful host! Had some struggles with finding a ride to the place and Andrea called people for us while being out of town! So helpful with his communication and his kindness. Definitely need to keep in mind it is a 10 min. drive from the closest town so if you don’t have a car or great Italian transportation can be tricky. We used the bus system but very particular about the timing and last rides are around 4:30pm so just plan around that! Other than that place is exactly as described, amazing views, and helpful host. Definitely recommend if you want a cozy get away and some alone time with the mountains!

Beautiful, lovingly furnished house in a quiet mountain village with great views over the mountains and in the morning also over the passing clouds. The neighbors are very helpful and warm! The kitchen is very well equipped (e.g. salad spinner, hand mixer), so I cooked a lot. In Aulla (10 min by car) there are a few restaurants, but more is going on in Sarzana (20 min) and the towns near La Spezia (30-40 min), here there are also beautiful beaches. Christiane was very helpful and quick to reach. All in all, I had a very nice three-week workation - I'd be happy to do it again. :)

La Libellule = La Dolce Vita The space. The interior. The gardens. The view! The seven of us had an absolutely incredible stay at Elisabeth’s La Libellule in pittoresce Olivola for 3 days and 4 nights. Liz was a perfect host, attending to every possible need both before and during the stay. The place is even more amazing on set than the pictures and the description. Fully equipped, a home away from home. Do not hesitate, book it if you have the chance! Olivola is a quiet but in no means not sleepy village, with breathtaking surroundings, a couple of nice restaurants, a wine bar and a great organic winery (plus walking distance to a small supermarket, bar and café in the neighbouring village). Car is optional but not needed, you can manage by foot and we got help with transfer both to/from the airport and for a day in more busy Casale Monferrato. There is also a bus that operates some days. We couldn’t ask for a more fulfilling girls trip, leaving with our hearts complete full.

Alberto and Bruna were the perfect hosts. They felt like old friends when it came to leave. We loved everything about their gorgeous home and such a tranquil and peaceful garden with beautiful plants everywhere. Thank you for everything!

Stefano was a super kind and helpful host. He welcomed us into his beautiful home with spectacular views of the Gulf of Tigullio: a real painting between sunrise and sunset, difficult to leave! The house was very tidy and well-kept, and in the morning he made us find a warm Ligurian focaccia for breakfast, a very special thought. It was a very pleasant stay, we hope to be back soon!

Paola is a friendly and super helpful host. Cleanliness in line with a country home. Location and exterior that are absolutely worth the price of the place. Perfect for parties with lots of people.

The villa was incredible. It had an amazing view and excellent ambiance. The house it self was well furnished and the property felt very private even though it was just a short drive down the hill from the train station to Cinque Terre. Sarah was very helpful and very prompt on answering any questions we had. We did the pasta making class and had a wonderful experience. Booking this accommodation was not only booking a house but also, booking unforgettable memories.

I'm not usually one to give a rave review but, if you're looking for a private retreat surrounded by natural beauty so you can focus on time with your family and/or friends while still having easy access to the local towns, this place is perfection. It marries old world charm with modern amenities seamlessly. We are already thinking about our next trip back so we can stay here again!

Eliana was fantastic. She assisted us with a personal emergency that occurred during our visit. She was compassionate, helpful, quick to reply to every need. Our home was beautiful, comfortable, and easily accessible for the train, bus and ferry. It was close to lots of great restaurants and shopping, including local small food markets. In addition, the location in Santa Margherita is perfect for quick hops to various nearby ports of Cinqué Terra, Portofino, Camogli, Rapallo, etc., but it is not as crowded as the more popular areas and yet it is equally beautiful. We loved it.

We stayed in some of the two houses near Camogli. The house is very nice and tastefully decorated. On our arrival we found a variety of food as well as beverages. Thanks again for that. Access is feasible with a normal car - contrary to some other comments. The house is quiet and private and offers a good base to relax there or make excursions on the Ligurian coast. We can recommend the house and also the caregiver and would come back there. There is a way to charge the EV at the house - but only with 1 kW, i.e. it works, it just takes.

This home was beautiful! Pietro was above and beyond kind to our big family. So thankful for him and this lovely experience.

What a beautiful surprise! A splendid and very large house in a very Italian style. Located in the middle of the Piedmont hills, 2 steps from the village of Vignale Monferrato, this superb residence has everything you need to spend a wonderful stay. There is even an indoor golf course! Swimming pool...ping-pong table etc...we were 10 with children, and there was plenty of room for everyone to feel at home. 10/10

We were immediately thrilled with the beautiful house and the large, sparkling clean pool. It is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. Our expectations were far exceeded. We had a wonderful week, the weather was perfect and so we could enjoy the huge pool to the fullest. The house is a very special country house, very spacious, modernly equipped and built from impressively beautiful materials. Everything is well thought out. Each sleeping area has a comfortable, modern bathroom. The outdoor area is huge and there are various options for sitting and lying down. We were there with 7 people and completely satisfied. It was the most relaxing vacation we've had in a long time. We thank Fabio and his nice family for this beautiful time in their unique house.

Peter's place exceeded our expectations! Especially the outdoor area with a great view between the apple trees and grape vines was amazing. In addition, it was completely fenced - so ideal for dog owners. We will be happy to come back!!

We stayed with Paolo for a week and felt super comfortable. For a group the house is perfect, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and the garden and pool are beautiful. Paolo is a very very nice host and was always easily accessible and helpful.

Overall we had a great stay! The dogs and area are great! Is it about an hour walk to the beach and is a little far from surrounding areas, but the walk is beautiful! We had electricity issues one night but the host was quick to reply. Overall would stay again! The house was very clean, pool was beautiful and a great place to relax!

We had a great time in Giampis house. Beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool, and we especially liked the kitchen outside in the upper house, which we could use also when it was raining. Great surroundings, great view, walking distance to shops and good restaurants in the small, peaceful town La Gracie and 15 min walks to the more touristic, but beautiful Portovenere. A great base for tours in Cinque Terre, with ferry from Portovenere or bus into La Spezia and train from there. We came without car, no problem at all to get around. Giampaolo is very friendly and helpful and gave us good advices where to eat and to do our shopping, and how to get around. We will absolutely recommend Giampaolos place, either for a relaxing or for a sportive vacation, or even better, both!
