The Talgarth Mill House

The Mill House is situated on Talgarth Town Square and is adjacent to Talgarth Mill, a water powered flour mill run by volunteers. Talgarth Mill houses an artisan bakery, a café & a craft shop. Talgarth achieved Gold in Wales in Bloom in 2021 and 2022 and a Gold in Britain in Bloom 2022. The pretty river Enig flows through the centre of town. An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

A crogloft is a traditional Welsh mezzanine, tucked away in the eves. Somewhere to quiet retreat to. Gwarcwm's Crog Loft is at the heart of the home, an old farmhouse beautifully restored. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The house is attached to a small field that slopes steeply down to a river at the bottom. We've recently finished building a sauna next to the river and installed a wood-burning hot tub, making this a perfect place to wind down when the day's adventuring is done.
