Brondel Luxury Shepherd's Hut

TudorRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was easy to find the shepherds hut. A very warm and personal welcome from Elen to her cosy well equipped hut was given to us and our Lurcher, including fresh garden flowers, and some tasty Welsh treats. Peaceful and picturesque views over the valley, a large comfortable bed, super shower and kitchen. Fabulous walk with incredible views over the hill to the Halfway Inn - thirsty work and the local cider a must! We recommend the food and drink at the Ffarmers down in Llan y Creuddyn, we drove, but Elen offered us lifts!! We visited several family farms, some now deserted and also visited the National Library of Wales to view family letters sent home after arriving in New York in 1832. The Welsh art exhibition and BBC Wales Archive are a must see too. We also recommend the drive over the hills to choose one of the many walks around the fascinating National Trust Hafod Estate. Thank you Elen, we look forward to staying at the hut again.

Great stay off the beaten track surrounded by stunning farmland and woodland. The sound of tawny owls at night and cuckoos in the morning. With red kites and buzzards soaring the skies. Was a nice peaceful stay

Former Post Office delivers first class getaway!

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Juli could not have been more welcoming. The Old Post Office is absolutely gorgeous, it beautifully furnished, was very homely and comfortable. It is so relaxing, I slept like a log. The kitchen is even better than the photos(!) we were also given a large hamper full of tasty goodies. There are lovely views across the old railway line/nature reserve and the feeders mean the garden is regularly visited by lots of birds. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to visit again. Thank you Juli x

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage. It's super cosy and well stocked. We enjoyed watching the sheep and red kites right from the dining table! Great location near the coast and plenty of bike trails for us to come back and try.

Cosy annex near Aberystwyth

LauraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Fabulous find! Big bonus was the garage to secure 2 motorbikes. Oliver was there to greet us and help with the bikes. The annexe was very comfortable, with a lovely veiw of the garden and the surrounding countryside. Keep doing what you're doing, it's a gem
