This home offered more than just a place to sleep; it provided an experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the sunrise and sunset. Each morning/night the windows framed a breathtaking spectacle of colors, transforming the room into a vibrant canvas. The positioning of the house along the water maximized this natural asset, creating a sense of tranquility and escape. Beyond the view, the apartment was clean and well-equipped. Looking to experience this place again and the beautiful French community that makes the town even more appealing.

Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

We all loved it! Like my children, I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the end, perfect after a long hike in Parc de la Mauricie! Huge congratulations to the builders and owners - Ryan and Mélanie - for this superb "Kodiak" log cabin, perfectly equipped and maintained. Small note though: much too hot in the rooms upstairs, thermostat setting impossible in the end > windows open >> waste of energy. A very beautiful experience of a boat ride on Lake Souris, one early morning, absolute peace, just the sound of our oars in the water and birdsong. End of evenings in quasi meditation, outside around the fire 🤗 without Kodiak bears 😉

The place was super cozy and had a really welcoming vibe—just perfect for a summer break. Also, Sophie was a great host, always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. I hope to find the cabin in future as well for my next visit.

Everything was good, the place is bigger than it looks

Marie-Laudz is a fantastic host. She is caring and communicative. The apartment is nice and the grounds are lovely.

Nancy's chalet was perfect, we were 4 friends and everything was done to accommodate a group. Bathrooms in each bedroom is a big plus. Super quiet, no neighbors visible.

Very cute and quaint place! Perfect for a couple or solo traveller.

We stayed at Anthony's for two nights, it went very well. We were happy to be able to enjoy the hot tub in the sun after a day of cycling in the surroundings: very beautiful! The area is very quiet and the neighborhood is very cozy. We were disappointed to realize that the lake shown in the photo is not accessible directly from the cottage (access not far away), and the screen of the video projector was broken. We didn't mind but the rooms are “open” so there isn't much privacy upstairs. I recommend for a weekend if you are looking for calm and rest.

We had a great stay at the chalet. The chalet was very clean, cozy, all the amenities are perfect. The river that flows next to the cottage allows us to be in a different setting, access to the rapids below is easy and very pretty. Everything is well thought out for a wonderful weekend. We will definitely come back, it is a very nice place.

What a beautiful chalet!! It had almost every single thing we could've possibly needed. Secluded, far away neighbours (exactly what we were looking for). Gorgeous hot tub, cozey and clean kitchen, living room. Had 1 issue with the lock combination not working, but didn't last too long. Living room bug screen had holes, and there were dirty "leftovers" in the washing machine's filter from previous guests (floss stick, hairs). Otherwise, very clean!! Several towels available after all, so we didn't have to bring our own. LOTS OF MOSUITOS & INSECTS!! Please come prepared lol. Overall super happy with our stay, very very nice cottage, sould love to go back during another season with less bugs. Merci Daniel! :)
