What an authentic and welcoming stay I had at Roy’s! A warm and clean house, a confortable room, a delicious breakfast and most importantly the kindest host! On top of that, the surroundings are incredible. I highly recommend !!

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Annelise war sehr engagiert und hat uns auch bei Fragen im Vorhinein schnell und zuverlässig geholfen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Dankeschön für alles 🌻

Sissel’s a friendly, kind-hearted, helpful and generous host. She gave us a lot of support during our stay in Tromsø. She helped us to explore the city and with her help, we were able to witness the beautiful aurora. We also hiked in the mountains, that was amazing to walk on the snow path. Her house is sooooo clean and I like the decorations very much. She’s got a lovely cat called Lion which is also friendly and lovely. Please choose her house in Tromsø, you’ll be deeply moved by her nice house and never regret.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans ce logement qui est à une demi heure de l'aéroport, une à l'arrivée, l'autre au retour. C'est un endroit inattendu, où l'on se sent très bien. L'accueil est parfait. Et quelle superbe façon de commencer et finir des vacances par un jaccuzi avec vue sur les montagnes. Merci Ragnar !

This is sort of an unique place. If you are looking for a quiet little cabin in the wood in order to reconnect this is the right choice. Certain aspects are a bit strange, but this is due to location and so on. Great experience and the hot tub during the night with the snow...it is totally worth it!

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

The stay at Siv’s house was really wonderful. The room is very comfortable, the bathroom has everything you need and more for showering, and there is a small kitchen that can be used without problems. Siv received us very warmly, she picked us up at the bus station since it was snowing that day, she made us a rich tea and left us food in the fridge so we could prepare breakfast. On our last day in Tromso, she took us for a walk through different places and then dropped us off at the bus station. We hope to come back soon! Thank you very much for everything Siv.

Var helt supert sted å være! Huset hadde alt man trengte, og det var bonus at bussholderplassen og matbutikken var i nærheten. Jeg følte meg hjemme der, og var lei meg for å måtte dra. Anbefalt!

Wir waren Anfang März 2025 bei Rafi. Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit! Mit einem Mietwagen haben wir die Unterkunft gut erreicht und waren immer super flexibel. Alle waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit! Wir durften zu den Rentieren und diese auch Füttern, das war super. Das Essen und das Frühstück waren ausreichen und sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

蘭姐的住所十分完美，什麼設備都有，浴室還有暖氣。環境十分衛生乾淨，我能夠住得十分舒服。她十分友善及樂於助人，還請我吃他自家製的可口甜品，很窩心地為我煮了一個麵。不像一般的民宿，蘭姐會主動跟你聊天，亦給你足夠的私人空間，你能在這裏與其他住客和蘭姐建立良好的關係。地點治安很好，即使女孩子自己去也十分安全。對華人來說，這裡就像一個五星級的家，令人樂而忘返。難怪這麼受歡迎，建議需要提前半年預訂，絕對物有所值 Lan’s house is perfect, where have everything you need. Lan is a friendly, helpful and nice person. She makes desserts to us, so delicious! It is very convenient from her house to McDonald and bus stops. It is safe for girls to live alone there. No need to worry about crimes. You can pay to Lan for making yummy Chinese meals, even better than Asian restaurants nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at Rafi's place! The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and as described. The location was nice for walks and activities around the lake. I’d happily stay here again. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Wij kijken terug op een heerlijk verblijf bij Gjertrud op Sommaroy. De locatie heeft een prachtig uitzicht en is rustig gelegen direct aan een strandje. Auto konden we makkelijk parkeren en in de buurt ook elektrisch opladen. We hebben gebruik gemaakt van de sauna in het nabijgelegen hotel, dat is wel echt alleen een sauna en verder geen faciliteiten. Het ontbijt was lekker met Noorse producten en door Gjertrud zelfgebakken brood. We hebben ook een keer gebruik gemaakt van de dinerservice van Gjertrud, ze kan goed koken. De bedden waren wat smal, dat was even wennen, maar lagen heerlijk en we hebben goed geslapen. De temperatuur op de kamer konden we zelf regelen met elektrische kachel, dat ging prima. Toen wij er verbleven waren niet alle kamers bezet, als dat wel zo is lijkt 1 badkamer waar ook de wc in is mij wel lastig.

Erittäin lämminhenkinen vastaanotto ja siistit huoneet. Kauniilla paikalla merenrannalla. Lyhyt ajomatka ylängön tunturijärville. Kaikin puolin sopiva paikka tällaiselle kalastajapariskunnalle <3. Ainoa puute oli, ettei käyttöömme annetussa keittiössä ollut kattilaa eikä paistinpannua. Onneksi oli Trangia matkassa.

Fantastische B&B. Sampo en Janne zijn zeer gastvrij en geven je een thuisgevoel. Zeer goed en compleet ontbijt, zeer schone kamer en badkamer/toilet. Ook gebruik gemaakt van de houtgestookte sauna in de tuin en dat was een super ervaring. Samen met Sampo en Janne bij de rendierenfarm van de buurman geweest en daar de dieren gevoerd, erg leuk.

Everything about my stay was wonderful. Gjertrud is a friendly, attentive host who is knowledgeable about the area and cares about it and about her guests. She's a wonderful cook and not only is the view from the large living room windows stunning, but the view from her upper deck is probably one of the best views on the island, as you can see the water (and the mountains across the water) on both sides. I highly recommend a stay at Gjertrud's place!

I stayed one night at this lovely place in Sommarøy and had a wonderful experience. Gjertrud was very kind and welcoming. The house offers a stunning view and is just a few steps from a beautiful beach. The dinner was delicious, and there are great hiking and walking opportunities nearby. Definitely worth a stay if you're in the area!

Had a fantastic stay. Lovely and warm host, beautiful and atmospheric house and garden. Great location, beautiful views and close to the stone age rock carvings. The breakfast served was tasty and cozy too 😁. would have loved to stay for longer and hope to visit again. can warmly recommend.

Tämä oli loistava tukikohta viikonlopun hiihtoretkille. Majoituspaikka vastasi hyvin kuvausta ja oli erittäin siisti. Vieraille löytyi myös erikseen jääkaappi omia eväitä varten. Majoittajat olivat mukavia, antoivat reittivinkkejä ja kunnon aamupalalla päivät lähtivät hyvin käyntiin!
