Villa holiday rentals in Trou d'Eau Douce

This is a beautiful property: the house is lovely and convenient, with everything in it, including anything you might need for a baby or a toddler; the garden is definitely a gem. The location is perfect to quickly reach the most beautiful beaches. The host is super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this property.

We have just returned to the UK after a 14 day vacation in the villa. We had a fantastic holiday the villa is beautiful inside and out. Perhaps our favourite area was the veranda. Its wraps around the villa and has many different seating areas. We spent most evenings out there. Garry is an amazing host he met us at the villa and showed us around also providing great information about Mauritius eating out beaches etc. He kindly allowed us to check out a little later. We ate out at Le Meridian and Revive several times they are local and within walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent food. La Voglia Matto Pizza eat in or takeaway is worth a visit. First of all, I would like to thank our Mohamed who welcomed us like royalty. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for the bottles of water and milk you provided. Thank you for everything, the Villa was in great condition. The location was Nikel, everything was as I imagined it. I recommend everyone to stay at Mohamed's, the best host in the world.

We stayed, with my parents (four adults and two small children) Upon arrival (flexible schedule) small touches awaited us (appreciable), we discovered a house as described (secure, spacious, clean, with all the necessities for daily life...) on a quiet little street, just 5 minutes from the beach on foot . Pleasant pool and possibility to bring a car into the yard (even two) Yoshi and his mom are very nice people, we highly recommend their rental!!

The accommodation is top notch. There are three apartments and a kite rental (standup padelling and a boat tour are highly recommended). Nevertheless, we were completely private to ourselves. We had the 3 bedroom villa. Super equipped with lots of equipment. Monday to Friday was even cleaned daily, real luxury. There is also an outdoor shower. Everything just like the photos. You live right on the beach. Communication was easy and fast and above all very friendly and helpful. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but everything was already booked.

Stayed for 4 days at Oliver's Villa and it was a very comfortable and luxurious stay. The Villa itself is so spacious with beautiful surroundings in the midst of nature with superb views of the Le morne Brabant. Oliver himself was there at the time of check-in so he personally explained everything which was great. The beach is also just across the road from his Villa. All in all a memorable stay and will definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Le morne.

We had a very nice stay at Anjali's place. After your parents greeted us warmly and showed the accommodation, we found that it was even nicer than in the photos. Restaurants and the grocery store were within walking distance and beautiful beaches were also not far away. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Valène is up there with the best hosts of Airbnb’s. Very responsive, friendly and welcoming. She even arranged for the fridge to be full and an affordable car rent. The place it self is absolutely perfect, especially with small kids. We had a very enjoyable and calm week. Would definitely recommend

A wonderful stay. The villa has spectacular views to the north and the layout for indoor/outdoor relaxation is fantastic. A lovely pool that gets north sun so is warm even in Mauritius 'winters'. Daily cleans from Pooga worked well - I was alone so never availed myself of any of her cooking which I gather is also an option. The place is near 'everything' - the best restaurant in the country is 20 mins away and there are tons of options 5-15 mins away. Groceries are as little as 5 mins away, 12 tops. Nice spa is also only 5 minutes away. Sunsets are glorious every night. Looking forward to another visit!

Beautiful home in nature. Rustic and charming. Don't expect everything to be perfect as it's old and tired in places but that adds to the charm.....

Pictures don’t justice this place it is really nice and in a gated community so it’s very private and safe too. We had a really nice and smooth stay with all the essentials available at the Villa. Highly recommend this place for families and big groups. Communication with the host was great and they were very prompt with all my queries.

Beautiful and heavenly

awesome place. the hosts husband was there to take us anywhere we wanted . we were comfortable having barbecues every day. we loved it . need a taxi to go around but that's it . but otherwise everything was perfect

Pascale's home is beautiful and situated in a quiet private neighborhood. The hosts are very warm, understanding and readily available to assist. The apartment is well furnished with all the equipment listed and pictures do not do justice to the amazing views on the backdrop.

We had a great time staying at Villa Pampas 2. The house was superb, clean, very well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The garden and pool allow you to fully enjoy the stay as well. A big thank you for the welcome of Soumila and her small dishes which are a treat. Great contact with landlords. We recommend ++

Beautiful house with a very good layout and very well-equipped. We enjoyed the welcome and communication with the Kentish and Anisha. And the pool....so beautiful and nice! A car is essential, the house is well located 5 minutes from the sea by car and also for the supermarket. A house under construction is next door, if you visit the island and leave early enough around 9am you will not be disturbed. The house is very well secured. We'll be back!!!!

Amazing house. Perfect location!

Our stay at Regine’s and Marina’s place was beyond our expectations! We were pleasantly surprised how good the location of this accommodation is. The house is beautiful and has a private access to the beach with great snorkeling! Marina and Regine provided us all the information that we found very useful and helpful! We cannot recommend this accommodation enough and it was our pleasure to be their guests. If you are planning coming to Mauricius you should definitely consider booking this place, because our experience was perfect!:) Thank you Marina and Regina for everything.

Nienke is very responsive and will message to check in and make sure everything is going well. The place is huge, quiet, private with stunning views. I highly recommend if you are looking to spend a few nights in a quiet location in a safe neighbourhood. Access to the beach is not a walking distance though but would be ideal if you had your own transportation. Good access to the restaurants. I highly recommend this place. Rosemay was an amazing host, always kind, responsive, and so thoughtful. There was one occasion where we had a few extra questions, and instead of just helping over the phone, she went out of her way to come by the villa after work. We all thought that was such a sweet gesture, and she even brought fruit for us and chocolate for my daughter! She truly went above and beyond and has been the best host we have had. The villa itself was lovely, and we especially loved the size of the pool, my daughter practically lived in it during our stay! On our last day, Rosemay was flexible with the check-out time, which made a big difference for us as our flight was later in the day. She also shared lots of helpful recommendations for food and shopping in the area. Thank you for making our stay so special, we will definitely recommend your place to others!

Necessary premise, magnificent place and a really nice and cozy house. So I recommend the experience, very positive. The only flaws in the details: the kitchen and a bathroom had burned out light bulbs, after a large correspondence with the concierge staff no one was waiting for us when we arrived (check-in scheduled for 2:00 pm but we asked to anticipate considering the duration of the flight). Upon arrival we could not find bottled water (after 14 hours of travel it would have been appreciated). Dishware to wash, dishwasher that didn't wash properly, just a few coffee pods. When you pay 2,500 euros per week, certain things should be adjusted. Anyway, it's all about details, the house, the view, and the location responded to every issue
