Trysil is a year-round destination and offers a lot of summer and winter. The apartment is located about 700 m above sea level with easy access to the alpine slopes and cross country trails. It is about 50 meters to the hill and elevator (F6 The cabin lift). Skistar Lodge Trysil is located 5 min on foot, below the apartment. At the hotel there are several restaurants and après-ski. During the cycling season you can bike straight out into the net of bike paths. It is about 4 km on a gravel road/ path to the top of Magic Moose. It is walking distance (about 10 minutes) to Høyfjellssenteret.

This apartment is in the middle of nowhere if you want many amenities within walking distance. Alpine slopes, cross country stadium, climbing park, bike lanes, golf course, swimming pool, spa, apres ski and bowling are all in the immediate vicinity. It is perfect for a large family of 6. It can get somewhat cramped with 8 adults, would not recommend as two have to share 120 cm bed.
