2 min. to Asakusa line - Quiet area

JeroenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

"WabiSabi" house Room1/1 bed/Skytree view/Asakusa/

ElinorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed over 30 years of extensive travel. Truly traditional Japanese wooden home with lots of character, nestled in quite little suburb with lots of hidden gems and friendly locals. Tetsuya preforms the check in so quietly as if to fit with the peacefulness of the space. He is so helpful, friendly and ready to solve any issue (I needed an adapter and Tetsuya delivered me a new one at its very cheap cost on Amazon). I wanted to stay longer than the 4 nights I had there as with the real good things, this too came to a smooth end. Thank you for having me.

Long stay/Nippori station on foot * Quiet Yanaka/2 rooms with balcony/4 cats/Rooftop cat house/cat shrine available

HaruRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is my first time in Tokyo. Although it is mainly to see the concert, I also want to experience the unique homestay in Tokyo. Because I am alone, I saw the single room of this cat homestay. The location is very convenient, just less than 5 minutes walk from Nezu subway station, and not far from Nippori on foot. I recommend backpackers to go because the stairs are narrow and it is not convenient to carry suitcases upstairs. I am a backpacker, so it is easy.Stayed for two nights and it was very quiet. The whole building seemed to be just me and the cat upstairs. The room was well ventilated and had windows on both sides. The cat shrine at the door is a famous landmark, so many people gather at the door every day, but they can only look outside and not inside. It feels like a blessing to stay in this homestay. There are many interesting shops around, and there are art museums, etc. It is really unnecessary to visit those very famous attractions when traveling to Tokyo. It is very happy to find them near the accommodation.

Hotel Wagokoro Standard Japanese-Style Room

JamesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great location close to Nippori station with Yanaka just the other side of the rail line. Check in was perfect and welcoming. Our room was ideal for a place to rest at the end of a long day with any extra amenities in a shared lounge near the hotel entrance. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Suzumeya Tsukiji – Cozy Stay Traditional Design

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a charming, quintessentially Japanese inn which has been converted from a 100 year old house but retains many of the features. Situated on a quiet street very close to Tokyo Station. We stayed in the Annex which has been open for about a year. The room was spacious enough, complete with shoji screens and green tea. We wanted somewhere to stay that reflected Japanese culture and this was just perfect for our visit. Fuko and her staff were friendly and responsive and we enjoyed a super Japanese breakfast served downstairs in the quiet, calm cafe. A wonderful visit.
