Plenty of walking in the area, places to visit, shopping in Cheltenham or stay put with a good book, film or glass of wine in the garden. Or just talking to each other! *The Fox and Hounds is still closed due to a fire (note added April 2026)

The groomsroom

Ex - grooms room, in the grounds of a beautiful country mansion. Self contained bedsit/studio with parking. Stabling available at extra cost if you want to turn this into an equine holiday! 4 miles from Tewkesbury and on the outskirts of Twyning, a beautiful location for a country break. Seasonal breakfast ingredients provided, but we are afraid you'll have to cook them yourself! Tea and coffee making facilities also provided. Fresh milk and bread will be in the fridge when you arrive.

A characterful Cotswolds coach house overlooking the National Trust Tithe Barn, with two bedrooms and mature private gardens with a beautiful duck pond and heated pool. The Little Retreat is a beautiful stable conversion. The open plan living/kitchen/dining room has a vaulted ceiling, stylish lighting and everything you need to cook up a storm. With cosy underfloor heating throughout, this is a special place, with only 5 star reviews! The Malvern Hills, and the new Cotswold Designer Outlet are on the doorstep, the Cotwolds Hills, Jeremy Clarkson's pub and Diddly Squat Farm are less than an hour away. Well behaved dogs welcome by arrangement.

Hobleys Cottage is positioned on the edge of the historic village of Stanton which is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque in the Cotswolds. Our Garden Studio has recently been converted. It is light and airy, cosy and warm. Sitting in the garden of a grade 2 listed cottage, it has its own entrance and patio doors leading to secluded alfresco dining area and garden. Eckington is a small friendly village within walking distance of two pubs, corner store, hairdresser, restaurant and a cookery school. We are close to the beautiful circular river Avon walk, and the deer park on Bredon Hill.
