Hafod Hedd (Peaceful Summer Dwelling)

Hafod Hedd is set in a beautiful private woody location on a the banks of a river. It is the perfect get away for adventurous souls who wish to escape the modern world! Cooking, heating and hot water are provided by a real fire, light is provided by candles, and the loo is an eco-friendly compost toilet. The real highlight is bathing under the stars in a pair of al fresco baths. This dwelling is only suited to able bodied adults as there are steep paths, hot fires, and drops into the river.

If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Derfel Pod

With stunning views of Llyn Celyn, this glamping pod comes with everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous break. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. It was built for end of 2023. There are 2 pods on site which are almost identical so if this one isn’t available on your date, check Celyn Pod.

When you book The Granary, you get: Fantastic walks right from the doorstep and recommendations for walks, places to visit and activities a short drive away. A woodburning hilltop sauna with a glass wall and fantastic views, parking onsite, lake for wild swimming, with 2 Kayaks, 2 Standup Paddle boards and a rowing boat. Table tennis, pool table, dart board and Frisbee Golf course. Good wi-fi and mobile signal. Check-in 3pm - Check-out 11am.
