Really cosy place, awesome decor and a huge bed. Would love to visit in winter to make use of the fireplaces (the weather was too good this weekend!) Hot tub was great and pizza oven fantastic. Thanks for having us!

Lovely quite place to stay? Friendly host and nice welcome pack on arrival. Comfortable couch and bed. Very spacious downstairs and wheelchair friendly. The vents can be a bit noisy when the wind gets up. Very little light pollution in some directions if you are into star gazing. The drive is spacious .

We absolutely loved our stay. It is such a cosy, gorgeous house! The hot tub is perfect, nice and secluded so you don't feel like you're being overlooked. The beds very comfortable and the location is brilliant, it's 10 mins into the main town and some lovely walks. I would defintely stay here again. I would say there wasn't much washing up liquid or toilet paper so I would advise bringing more of your own supplies and the garden defintely needed a good sweeping, we weren't able to use the cushions as they'd been left out in the rain. but overall a brill stay and I would definitely recommend! Spent 3 lovely peaceful days here! The place is spotless. Easy to check in, but quite a late one for standard check in times. Even with surrounding neighbours there was minimal disturbance.

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

We had a lovely few nights at South view Farm Cottage. The cottage was clean and tidy whilst being cosy and comfy. the Christmas tree was a lovely touch and the couch and bed were both so comfortable. would highly recommend to anyone looking for a chill country getaway.

10/10 recommendations!! Stayed here for a couple nights with a group of friends. The cottage was even better in person the photos really don’t give it enough justice. views outside were beautiful. We were lucky to have the hot weather during our stay so made good use of the outdoor amenities like the hot tub and fire pit. Overall an excellent property which is excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and I personally will be back! Massive thank you to Mark and Michelle!

We all loved staying on Laura’s farm, the accommodation was comfortable, clean, really well equipped and waking up to see the cows having their breakfast was an added joy . The little extras that Laura supplied for both humans and dogs were lovely! Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Longsands. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped. It was a cosy base to explore the lovely town of Tynemouth and Newcastle. It was so close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Debbie was so helpful and lovely in all her correspondence. Would definitely return.

Beautiful countryside around and nice walks from the cottage along public footpaths through fields and woods. Nice the owner has left a history of the farm to read up. Beds very comfortable and kitchen well stocked.

Perfect for we two and the dog. Great walks nearby. Spot the red kites when you're lucky, they are not to be missed. V comfy, home from home. Will definitely visit again

We spent the weekend at Gill’s beautiful cottage and it could not have been any better. The cottage was perfect in every way and we couldn’t have felt anymore at home. The cottage itself was gorgeous and extremely well kept and the views across the fields were stunning. Gill was a great host and went above and beyond to make our trip one to remember. We would recommend this to anyone and were certainly come back again in the future.

This cottage is very comfortable and well equipped, and, even though it looks small on the outside, it is very spacious inside. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is a really lovely space as is the lounge, where we enjoyed the log burner. It is great to have 2 bathrooms as well as a downstairs toilet, not to mention the washing machine and dryer! We love looking out at the fields and hills in the morning.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Gorgeous cottage, in a really convenient location (there’s a garden centre over the road to grab logs from), and the host kindly gave us some coal for the weekend. Great place for a family break!

We stayed at Hamraz's house when our home was flooded so we stayed for 4 weeks. The location is amazing- close to amenities and the views are stunning. The house was big enough for us to comfortably live in for 4 weeks. The hot tub is well worth the extra money as it's a premium hot tub. Hamraz husband very prompt at explaining things at check in. Host then very much left us to it which was ideal for us. Would stay again.

Addy's cottage is immaculate - decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with a really comfy bed. It contains everything you'd need and is of good quality. The EV charger was a great bonus. Addy is a great host and was very responsive to any queries. Well positioned for visiting Beamish, Durham and local attractions, it is a perfect gem!

Unbelievable location, perfect place to stay, hidden yet on the seafront. Would encourage people to stay here! Stayed over New Year’s Eve with my family and it was perfect for our needs! The host was super helpful and responsive, couldn’t have had better stay.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. We had a lovely time at the cottage. The location is perfect and so close to the beach. Lots of different restaurants, great doughnut place and a juice shop just a very short walk away. We cooked most of our meals at the cottage and all the basic stuff we needed for that was provided. This is a perfect place for a quiet beach getaway.

Absolutely loved our stay will definitely be staying again. Slight issue with the water however was out of the control of the owners and they jumped to the help almost immediately to provide water. Always responsive and amazing owners. Will definitely be booking again

We really loved staying at Plawsworth. It was ideal for us as a family and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Ideal location and facilities. Howard and Harry couldn’t have been more accommodating! We hope to use this as a base for our future visits to the North East.
