Cabin holiday rentals in Umbagog Lake

We had a wonderful vacation. The cabin is a true gem in the North East Kingdom. Upon entering the house, fresh flowers decorated the rooms and we found a basket of snacks for us and our dog. Leslie and Matt’s passion for decorating made the house cozy and inviting. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed walking through the garden, relaxing on the deck, and walking to the river. The food shopping service Leslie and Matt offer is an added bonus. The cabin is also in a perfect location. There are many great hikes and restaurants close by. The North East Kingdom truly delivered with its scenic woods, spectacular summit views, and gorgeous waterfalls. Plus every meal was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality and making our vacation this year a memorable one! You both were responsive, friendly, and such a help before and during our stay. This vacation was exactly what we hoped for: a relaxing retreat among the trees. I wish we lived closer because I’d be back every year.

Our stay at Tim and Renee’s was perfect. Gorgeous tiny house, super comfy, the hot tub was amazing. The spot the Airbnb is on is very private and peaceful. South Royalton is a cute little town with a nice food coop and coffee shop. Tim and Renee were super responsive the couple of times we had questions. Would absolutely come back.

Beautiful secluded location for my partner and I! Jen was very clear with instructions and made checking in and out very hassle-free! We had such a lovely week and having this space really enhanced our little vacation. Although the location itself may not have a lot to do, it is perfectly nestled between Belfast and Camden, two cute towns on the water. Acadia National Park was about 1.45 hours away but the drive is well worth it, especially being able to come home to a hot tub. 10/10 recommend this property, and thank you Jen for sharing your space with us!!

A perfect getaway! My husband and I had such a relaxing time at this beautiful cabin. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, the space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Every little detail made it feel like home. Ashleigh was an incredible host, providing helpful information and even checking in to ensure we were enjoying our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of our favorite moments was unwinding in the hot tub, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. During our stay, an afternoon thunderstorm rolled in, and sitting on the screened-in front porch with a cup of coffee, watching the rain, was an unexpectedly serene experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat, and we will definitely be back!

The cabin was great! Easy to find and just as described. The host was very responsive and very friendly. Definitely worth the stay and would go back!

I recently stayed at Karsten cabin and the stay was nothing short of perfect. The cabin is clean and so cozy. The host has put extra consideration and thought into every tiny detail of the cabin. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The cabin is secluded but at the same time feels very safe as there are neighbors on both sides.

Carol your cabin was so beautiful! It was such a nice change of pace to be able to recharge and reconnect with nature after moving to the city. We both couldn't have been happier with your hospitality and all of the little details that made it such a special place to stay. We definitely hope to come back!

Our stay was incredible! The view by the stream was amazing, everything was so peaceful and perfect. Inside the cabin was exactly what we expected, very homey, everything we needed. We loved the walls lined with books! Kevin was very attentive towards what we needed - it stormed all day Saturday and he brought a second heater for us because the temperature dropped, which with that and the gas fireplace, kept the place perfectly warm and comfortable. He was also very accommodating in allowing us to stay an extra night since our plans of hiking all weekend were thwarted by the rain. We went for my husband's 40th birthday and i couldn't have picked a better place to get away from the stress of life. We plan on going back for sure!

This beautiful A-Frame was a perfect weekend getaway. My girlfriend and I spent the weekend here and it was in a great location with perfect accommodations for two people. The place was clean with great amenities (grill, fireplace, etc.) Will definitely be hoping to return in the future / am eager to recommend this property to anyone.

This is not only a perfect cabin for a great getaway, Sarah is also a perfect host. I reserved last minute and they accommodated even though it wasn’t easy to prep the place on short notice. Sarah and her husband gave me great fishing recommendations and even sent me a map pin for a great spot. Can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I stayed with our two dogs for 8 days at Jennifer’s cabin. We were looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and Jennifer’s cabin helped us accomplish just that. The cabin is in a very private location with no neighbors in a peaceful setting. The cabin had plenty of space for our dogs to lounge around and play in the yard. The river is just steps from the front of the house. Every morning it was nice to get up and have coffee on the deck while listening to the river and then walk to the trails nearby to hike with our dogs. We would definitely stay here again. 10 out of 10!

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this charming camp on Webb Lake, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The serene setting was perfect for enjoying the outdoors together. We spent our time fishing on the beautiful lake, where we caught a handful of fish. Kayaking was a highlight as well; the combination of being on the lake, mountain views and beautiful weather was simply magical. The camp itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing a wonderful weekend getaway. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway filled with outdoor fall activities, this is the place to be. An absolute gem if you want to reconnect with family/nature, relax and unplugg. It was so peaceful and tranquil. my 5 year old son loved being in the loft stargazing at night. we would be sitting in the deck by the firepit for smores and some snacks every night. Truly, one of our best family trips. Kendra is also very responsive.

This was our second time staying at JoAl's place. My family loves the radiant flooring. JoAl is fantastic, super easy to work with. We hope to be back again next year for more wonderful snowmobiling. The trail access is just outside the door.

This was a great and peaceful place for my girlfriend and I to spend some time away from home. The house was amazing, Agnes was prepared for everything and gave us more than enough information about everything regarding the house, town, and safety. We would 100% come back and highly suggest this place!

I had such an amazing stay, took my kids for a night wish we could have stayed longer it was so clean, cozy and peaceful.

Had a great time staying at this location. We found the place quickly, and check in was very easy. It is exactly as-described in the listing and was very well stocked with handy items in the kitchen. The close proximity to the ATV trails was a huge plus, as we could ride to the trail system directly from the driveway. Would love to come back again at some point in the future.

Julia was such a great host! The A Frame was so cozy and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with anything you could possibly need. The bed and pillows were super comfy. We really enjoyed the old school scrabble board and how close it was to town/ the brewery. We would love to come stay again!

Great stay! Highly recommend! Keith was great as a host. Quick and clear communication and helped us with planning our fishing trip. The cabin was spotless and had all the essentials. Great views. Comfy beds. It's technically off-grid, but you would never know as the solar and generator worked flawlessly. Overall a great stay.
