We had the most wonderful week at the Rocket House. James has created the most wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable space. The house was truly more beautiful than we anticipated. It had everything we needed. The amenities were functional and well-appointed. The whole house was well-suited for our needs and was incredibly livable. My favorite part was the windows. If I have to clean up from dinner, the view made it so much more enjoyable. Additionally, the house was spotless and easily accessible. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Also, learning about the history of the house made it more meaningful to discover the specialness of the location and the house's origins. I CANNOT say enough good things about the location. The SW Coast Path is literally just outside the door. The views were stunning. Working with James was a joy. He was communicative, informative, and accommodating. I have already sent this listing to multiple friends!

What a beautiful, comfortable and perfect home. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had absolutely everything that we could think of needing, Julie and Rory had literally thought of anything we might need. The cottage is beautifully maintained, spotless and very well kept. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept beautifully during our visit. We loved the bathroom the kitchen and played lots of games in the living room.

We had wonderful days in "the den". Shanti and her family are heart-warming people with a beautiful garden and great friendliness! We would love to come back one day and can recommend to stay and enjoy the place! Thank you!

Excellent stay, very friendly host and brilliant amenities! We felt very welcome, including our dog and toddler, and enjoyed using the swimming pool and wandering round the grounds. The location was great for exploring Devon - we enjoyed some lovely days out as well as walks along the beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend Sharron and Stuarts cottages!

What a find!! We absolutely loved Becky’s place. The views are outstanding, the photos don’t do it justice. The lodge is very private and peaceful with only the sound of the birds and local farm animals. The lodge its self is very spacious and comfortable with everything you need. We will definitely be returning soon.

We had a truly wonderful time at Andrew’s place - it felt both completely private and incredibly safe. As a single mother, that sense of security is one of the things I value most, and this spot absolutely delivered. The views were breathtaking, and just being there helped me properly unwind and detox from the pace of city life. Andrew was so welcoming.. he kindly carried all our things down and gave us a helpful tour of how everything worked. After that, we were left to enjoy the space in peace, which was exactly what we want. We had some amazing BBQs, played games, shared lovely dinners and drinks, and my dog loved it. Staying in the tent was such a fun and unique experience, and the bed was comfy, beautifully soft linen that made it feel extra special. Thank you so much, Andrew, for having us. Me and my partner have just got back after spending 4 nights at the little barn. Everything was as described. The photos don’t do the size justice it is huge! More than enough space for 2 people. The decor is lovely and just to our tase. The shower is amazing! It was lovely to see the horses and pony right outside the kitchen and bedroom window. Also the chickens roaming freely. Everything we wanted or needed plus more was there, tea, coffee , sugar and milk for when we arrived, oh and the lovely farm fresh eggs, these were delicious! The kitchen is kitted out perfectly. The hot tub on the decking area was an added bonus, watching the sun set of an evening whilst enjoying an Aperol spritz was amazing. Also the bbq was a superb added touch. Philippa was a perfect host! There if you needed. Philippa also advised us of places to go, I can highly recommend Tavistock, a lovely town only half an hour away. There’s plenty of places to visit. We have already booked for next year!

Tim and Katie's place is an absolute gem. The apartment has both character and style. They have thought through every detail to make you feel comfortable and at home. When you are traveling and on the go, getting a good night sleep is paramount - the bed is very comfortable and the room has blackout blinds.. we had such a great sleep. Tim was so kind and hospitable.. we managed to visit so many beautiful places he recommended and had a yummy dinner at Squires. It went by so quickly and there is still so much more to see and do. We definitely would love to come back.
