The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Es ist auch ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die wunderschöne Umgebung und zu interessanten Zielen. Auch im Herbst und Winter! Zum See sind es nur ein paar Minuten den Berg hinunter. Hier könnt Ihr mit der Fähre nach Meersburg übersetzen - und auch die Insel Mainau ist nicht weit. In die Altstadt führt ein schöner langer Uferweg oder der kostenlose, direkte Bus (ca. 15 min.).

After an excursion on the Swabian mountains, you can slow down and enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains from the balcony. Our Heidi House is located in the middle of the Black Forest, in a small valley surrounded by green meadows. Next to the Heidi house is the farm we live on. The Heidi house is detached and has a separate entrance, so your privacy is guaranteed. The farm is located at the end of a road, with no traffic passing through, and is surrounded by meadows, fruit trees and forest. Our own stream and a small pond with a bench on the property invite you to relax.

You will stay in a small fine Baroque cottage. The center of Lucerne can be reached in a 10-minute walk. The cottage is ideal for 1-2 people. The small room (15 m²) has all the details to make your stay cozy and pleasant. It has a comfortable sofa bed that you can use as a sofa during the day. You have an outdoor space with table, chairs, armchairs and sun loungers. A fire ring is also available. Behind the house begins a beautiful forest for hiking.

The cozy apartment consists of a large room on the ground floor, with an adjoining bathroom and an upper floor with two bedrooms. It is located in the lovingly renovated former stable building of our farmhouse. This is located in a rural but local part of Tettnang, about 8 km from Lake Constance. The apartment combines the charm of former rural use with modern furnishings. The fireplace offers a special ambience, especially in the cold season.
