5 Stars – A Tuscan Dream Come True! Our stay at Francesco’s private resort-style retreat in the hills of Tuscany was absolutely magical. The location is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect escape into the beauty of the Italian countryside. The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. This place is a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany!

Sparkling clean apartment in an absolutely quiet location in a small private village. Christian was a great host who was able to help us immediately with forgotten towels. A truly magical and unique stay in a castle apartment. After 24 days exploring the beauty of Italy, our arrival at Simone's third floor apartment in the village was breathtaking. This truly magnificent setting, nestled within a castle, immediately enveloped us in a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The apartment itself is not only beautifully appointed and meticulously cared for, but also boasts spectacular views across the mountain range that invited us to sit for hours, simply unwinding and soaking in the tranquility. While we ventured down the mountain a few times, we found ourselves drawn to the gentle rhythm of morning and evening walks, always culminating in a visit to the piazza to once again marvel at the stunning views Simone, our host, is simply the most considerate and attentive host I have encountered in 15 years of travel. Luca and his family were available and present when needed. Excellent, easy and fast check-in and communication. Everything matched the description, but in person, the exterior of the structure and the surrounding landscape, especially in this period, are breathtaking. Area outside the noise of the village but absolutely convenient and easy to reach and convenient for visiting the surroundings. Highly recommended.

This house with the surrounding garden, embedded in a dreamlike landscape, is an absolute paradise. The garden is huge, beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. The view is breathtaking and we have taken daily hiking trips and bike tours directly from the house. The peace and quiet is incredible, you can usually only hear birds and when it gets dark, the nightingale. The house itself also leaves nothing to be desired. Extremely clean, including in the cupboards and drawers. Everything you need is there, but (despite very tasteful decoration) not overcrowded. Just right and everything is very high quality. Super comfortable bed & sofa and beautiful bathroom. Veronica is an outstanding host and her mother (who welcomed us) is very sympathetic. We received gifts directly from the garden and Veronica is responsive and extremely courteous in communication. You can tell from the beginning to the end how much love is in this house.

We loved our stay at Palazzina Maresa and wish we stayed longer than two days! Eugenio was an incredible host and met us upon arrival. He explained the history of the space and provided incredible recommendations for Florence. The space is absolutely beautiful, inspiring, and we loved the garden terrace in the backyard. We will definitely stay in one of his properties again when we revisit Florence!

I was looking for a quiet place in Tuscany in a rustic atmosphere and it was a great choice. Silence, beautiful views, a restaurant with authentic dishes... what more could you want?:-) I recommend this place for all those who value peace and love nature!

Property is amazing, host so friendly and helpful… Honestly we spent very little time on the property as we were exploring so much of Tuscany during our stay with the lovely location as our home base. But it was so beautiful to wake to every day and come “home” to late every evening :) During our 6 days, we explored Florence, hung out in Siena, hiked Chianti trails, visiting all over from Monteriggioni to San Gimignano to Volterra… and throughout Val d’Orcia from Montepulciano to Pienza , Pitigliano to Serano… and north to Lucca & Pisa. Just wonderful location :) Thank you so much!
