Holiday rentals with a patio in Uplyme

We had a wonderful stay, the studio was very cosy and had all that we needed including some croissants and snacks provided by Elisabeth. It is a very peaceful area. We enjoyed walking to the beach in the mornings and found Branscombe a great base for days out in Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. I would highly recommend a stay here. Elisabeth was very welcoming and friendly.

My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights in Guy’s Hideaway - the perfect little bolthole by the sea. Great location for walking into town, to great restaurants and to the beach (fossil hunting is a must!). The outdoor deck overlooking the coast was an absolute gem!! Guy was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely, clean, warm and comfortable with everything you could wish for. Dan was very accommodating, and quick to answer questions. Very happy.

My husband, 10-year-old daughter and myself have just returned from a truly amazing week, the property is beautiful, with facilities that far exceeded expectations. We had such a relaxing time; the beds are super comfy; led in bed looking out to sea with a coffee in the morning was a true highlight. The gardens are beautifully kept and being gated and private we had no worries with our daughter playing out. The walk down to Watcombe Beach, albeit steep on the way back up but 100% worth it; we took our paddleboard down and went swimming on a number of occasions, the water is very calm, on 2 occasions we were in the water and within 20ft off us were 2 seals! The hot tub was perfect, lovely fluffy robes provided to keep off the chill. We used the BBQ each evening and ate out on the patio. Susan is an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble, very informative and exceedingly helpful, she really did enhance our stay and made us feel as if we were staying in a home from home.

We had such a lovely stay! The hosts were absolutely amazing – so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about their guests and take pride in their place. It made such a difference to our experience and we felt right at home. We were also lucky enough to stay during a food and beer festival happening just across the road, which was such a fun surprise and added to the atmosphere. The location was perfect – close to everything we needed and in a great spot to explore. The place itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the little touches that make a stay extra special. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be back. Thank you again to the wonderful hosts – highly recommend! we will be back 😊

I spent a lovely few days in Rebecca's garden flat and would happily stay again. It has a small but well required kitchen, surprisingly spacious main room and separate bedroom with a comfortable bed. The patio garden is a nice extra and the flat is pretty much ideally located. Lyme Regis is very hilly, but the back door of the flat is very close and on a level with the long stay parking (free with permit in the flat) while the front door is at the top of the main street. (If you couldn't walk through the flat you would have to go up and down a significant hill to get to the same spot.)

WOW, what an amazing place. Everything you needed including coffee, tea, sugar, milk and some yummy biscuits. Spotlessly clean and a really comfy bed. Fantastic views across to the sea, especially nice when we sat out with a glass of wine 😁. Tina was such a lovely host, so friendly and helpful, and if we needed anything we only had to ask. Having basics left for us, salt + pepper, teabags, shower gel etc was so helpful. We walked everywhere but when we did drive we knew we didn’t have to search for a parking spot as Stephen left a permit so we had our own space (would be difficult to find at busy times). The property was within the centre of the village.

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s cottage – truly an oasis to relax and soak in Devon’s beautiful nature. The space is neat, clean, and spacious, yet still incredibly cosy and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – especially with the delicious homemade flapjacks and thoughtful selection of local products waiting for us. Everything is so well thought through – from the comfortable bed that guarantees a great night's sleep to the well-equipped kitchen. We loved spending slow mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive, and full of great local tips. It’s clear how much love and care she puts into the cottage, which really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect – peaceful and remote enough to fully unwind. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restful, charming stay in Devon!

This was our second stay at Pebble Cottage and it was just as perfect as the first, except this time we had sunshine so were able to sit outside in the beautiful garden. Highly recommended!

This beautiful house was ideal for us - 6 adults (2 sets of parents and their respective son and daughter). Lots of different spaces to sit, eat, relax and chat. Cooking in the well appointed kitchen was easy. All of the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable with views of rolling countryside and the sea (from the attic room). Well located for exploring West Dorset and East Devon or even just fossil hunting on Charmouth beach.

We adored staying here. The walk to town was heavenly and felt like a treat each time we did it. The house was spacious with a stunning garden. It was a joy to spend time there. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to cook in. The house was so easy to live in - been recommending it to friends and hope to visit again soon. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed the stay in the cottage. The location in the village is very peaceful and only a short walk to the beach. The cottage has traditional character and is also modern and clean and we felt comfortable to use it in our own way. We have found it a good base for walking on SW coast path! Lyme Regis has a good beach for children and Bridport has a good selection of shops. The host were always very responsive and helpful and we would definitely book again.

A fabulous place for our stay. Quiet and private but close to all amenities which meant that we could walk everywhere. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The little gifts left for us were the extra touch that made it even better. Thank you so much - we will definitely be back again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a stay in Brixham.

Absolutely perfect place for a relaxing peaceful break. Cannot recommend it enough! Lisa really goes above and beyond. The views of the beach from the hot tub are gorgeous and the location is ideal. We will definitely be returning!!

Anthony was a lovely host. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around our accommodation. He explained the area and the different options of how to walk into weymouth. The accommodation was lovely and clean. I really love the smell of clean laundry when you stay somehwere and Anthony's place smelt lovely and clean. The place is spotless and ample room for two. Anthony left a bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge for us which was very welcome and a lovely touch, haven't had that before at any other airbnb. We will be back😊

Stayed for a friends wedding. Location was perfect as walking distance to registry office and reception. Jonathan was proactive and offered recommendations of things to do if I wanted them. I changed my arrival time last minute and Jonathan was excellent at accommodating the changes providing clear instructions / directions. The apartment was clean, milk in the fridge and biscuits left for me, good sized shower with good water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Nice little apartment in a perfect location. Short walk to a beautiful harbour with plenty of bars/restaurants. Apartment itself was clean and tidy, with nice seating area in the courtyard

Diana was the perfect host and couldn’t do enough to make our stay just as perfect. The accommodation was pristine and exceeded expectations. The gardens were peaceful and tranquil. I can’t rate this property highly enough and would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a convenient location for surrounding areas. We were there for a wedding so can’t comment on the wider area and what’s on offer.

This really is a gem of a place. So stylish yet homely. It is off a fairly bisy road, but you didn’t notice that at all when inside. It’s a little oasis with a beautifully mature garden. We slept really well and would stay here again without any questions. Parking was super easy too.
