An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Brook View is a spacious, two bedroom, purpose built holiday home just off the A470 in Builth Wells. The bungalow is minutes away from the town centre on foot with easy access to the Royal Welsh Showground. With tasteful decoration and plentiful amenities the property really does feel like home from home. It's the ideal base for enjoying nearby beauty spots (being roughly half way between the Brecon Beacons National Park & the Elan Valley). A maximum of 2 small dogs would be very welcome.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. This is a modern loft conversion in the beautiful Welsh countryside of Brecon Beacons. The loft is a self catering, open plan living space and kitchen with a double bedroom with en suite. It has an independent access via a wooden staircase and private parking. It has Wifi and Smart TV and DVD player. It is oil central heating and has a fully equipped kitchen. Set in a lovely garden with a large pond and a small woodland. Also a private patio area outside with table and chairs.

Cromen Tŷ Cyw Iâr (Chicken house dome). A slated dome is a unique building, this one looks down the Honddu and Usk valleys and you can see for 25 miles from the star window looking South East. I have reused materials as much as possible in its construction. The original henhouse was rebuilt to create the private bathroom alongside and contains a hot shower, w.c. and basin. I have created a special place for visitors to stay with their own private piece of rural Wales to enjoy.

Escape to a unique and quirky rural retreat. The literal English translation of Tŵr-Ffoledd is "Tower of Folly". We think that's a pretty accurate description given its dramatic tall outline and the unusual features found in the interior. It's a peaceful, dog friendly holiday retreat in beautiful Mid Wales close to the Brecon Beacons, Llanwrtyd Wells, Elan Valley and Builth Wells. Please note that the steep stairs make this property unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
