Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Wendy’s Airbnb is in a very convenient location, especially if you’re having to walk at all. Wendy will greet you upon arrival, and I found her to be incredibly friendly and personable-she’s truly great to chat with and was very accommodating throughout my stay. She and her husband reside upstairs which makes for quick and easy communication. Personally I find it valuable when the host is on site as it makes it feel safer, and I’ve had issues at other properties where hosts weren’t present. I’d seen this ad before but hesitated because it’s a basement apartment. Upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised-it’s much brighter and more welcoming than the ad suggests. The apartment was very clean, the bed is soft and comfortable and coffee pods are provided, which is all I really ask for when staying somewhere.🙂The beautiful little backyard is obviously well-tended, and there’s an area where you can sit out in the sun. This Airbnb feels like a home away from home, and I’d stay again.

It was just what we needed while visiting family. The bed was absolutely amazing, So comfortable! The host was welcoming and very helpful. Anything and everything was a just a message away. Our family really enjoyed it.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at The Leo! The space was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described— if not better. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The place was thoughtfully stocked with everything I could have needed—from the linens and towels to kitchen essentials that made it feel like home away from home. Leo was an amazing host— professional and super easy to communicate with. He made sure I felt welcomed, answered any questions I had, and provided great recommendations for my stay. The location was also super convenient—peaceful, safe, and close to everything I needed. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting the area! Great location right off the snowmobile trail and close to downtown. Nice big parking lot for a snowmobile trailer. House was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described.

Awesome place to vacation. Plenty of space for a large group of people. Beautiful sights off the deck and Stan was an awesome host to have! Highly recommend.

Kelly’s place made my family’s trip to Thunder Bay a memorable one. I was really impressed with how fully stocked the place was with supplies! We didn’t need anything extra. There were so many games and activities around, we never got bored. The space and size of the place was perfect for hosting a large group. I would highly recommend! The only thing very minor thing I would’ve wished for was the dock have been in the water, as we did a lot of swimming through the weekend. Overall 10/10. Thank you Kelly for an amazing weekend!

Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

The place was just right for our girls getaway. It had a great location right on the lake. Since it was late fall it was very quiet. Would love to come back when it is warm to enjoy the water. The place itself was wonderful, the picturea didn't deceive.

We really enjoyed staying at Ashley’s place. The backyard was the best part. My family of 8 and I loved the fire pit, the dock to fish on, and the hot tub! We played cards on the table on the deck and used the grill to grill out.
