With parking outside the door and being on one level with widened internal doors, the accommodation is suitable for all abilities. The first of two bedrooms has a double bed and the second has two single beds. The bathroom has a walk in shower, towels provided. Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!

The Stables @ Hamiltons

The Stables is a tasteful, recently converted former stables and open barn that was built in 1979 on the site of the original 1850 Victorian Coach house, that was demolished in 1960. Situated within the grounds of our home “Hamiltons”, a former Victorian vicarage. Positioned at the top of “Jack and Jill” hill, this private, self contained accommodation has wonderful views out over the garden and across the valley to the village of Kilmersdon and the woods of Babington House beyond.

Amberley House Annexe near the river Mells

The Amberley House Annex is a private space adjoining this historic main house, just above the river Mells in the beautiful little village of Great Elm, just 10 minutes outside of Frome. You have your own front door, a cosy sitting room and upstairs a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Just a minute walk down the hill takes you to the beautiful river where you can walk either in the direction of the villages of Mells, Chantry and Whatley or the other way towards Frome itself.

Located 6 Miles from the historical city of Bath the Annexe is full of character both inside and out. Once you have finished your morning coffee sat in the private garden with a variety of wildlife including pheasants, finches, Owls, squirrels and the occasional wondering Deer, why not hit the public footpath situated 200 metres from the property to hone your bird watching or foraging skills. If relaxation is your preference we have a variety of books and games for you to enjoy.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is a modern, comfortable barn conversion situated in an area that used to be part of the farmyard, opposite our farmhouse cottage and a pretty mill with a view of the village on the hillside where the sun sets. Little gated courtyard with table and chairs to enjoy that view. Walking distance to the village shop and local pub for drinks. Great footpaths to explore the countryside, you need a car to make the most of your stay. Maximum of two guests Check in from 4pm
