The hut is accessible by cable car (not included in the rental price) or by car (only with a driving permit, an additional 70.00 per week). The walk from the mountain station takes about 1 hour (3.3 km, 320 meters in altitude).

It is located on the Schächentaler Höhenweg. In the middle of the HIKING AND biking mecca of the canton of Uri. If you prefer to be more comfortable, the hut invites you to relax and unwind. Cooking on the wood stove will also slow you down and you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets and the unobstructed views of the mountains.

The property is located in the agricultural zone away from any civilisation. The car park is about a 20-minute walk from the house. A driving licence to the property can be purchased. In snowy conditions, access is only possible on foot (with snowshoes).
